When i sync my ipad, iphoto cannot be found and pictures will not load on to the ipad.

How can I get the iPad2 to find the pictures in iPhoto on my MAC so they can be loaded on to the iPAD?

So - just to be clear. The photos are in iPhoto; iTunes lets you select the albums/events to sync, but the sync just doesn't happen?
If so, one possible solution is to clear any pics you've created or saved on the iPad. It's been seen before that on odd occasions saving pics from a website or whatever on the iPad/iPhone screws up the iTunes sync.
f you need to keep the pics, email them to yourself as attachments then delete them from the iPad.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Cannot update software and safari will not load

I keep geting this - Software Update can’t connect to the update server. Make sure you’re connected to the Internet, and then try again.
But i am connected to the internet fine. I have tried for days, as Safari will not load the home page, or any other, it just hans so i thought updating would help.
I have tried moving the plist onto the desktop and tried again but that has not worked.
Running Snow leopard 10.6.7
any help appreciated.

Yes, the error message is exactly like that ("Database error: failured to persist version")
No photos will import at all. I use USB to import from iPhone 5s or iPad 2.
About the difference? iPhoto and Photos . Are there two softwares?
I also will like to merge and/or synchronize all my photos I had saved to iCloud backups, Macbook Pro, iPhone 5s and iPad hard drives using iPhoto. It's call iPhoto library. At one point I turned off streaming.

FIrst try a soft reset by holding down the home & sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears then let go & let the iPad boot up normally.
If that doesn't help then to make sure you have a strong internet connection.
Try resetting Network Settings
Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings,
You won't lose any data but will have to log back into your wifi networks.
Once logged back in and when the pop-up appears, try entering your password again.

That was probably caused by your Firewall blocking the newly installed version of Firefox.
No known security issues with Firefox 3.6.17, which was just released this past week.

I'm just guessing at this point, but I suspect that you have installed a midi driver on your computer for some external device, and, since GarageBand's midi capabilities are limited in some ways, chances are your audio/midi driver is asking GarageBand to do something more than it's made to do, causing core audio's midi function to crash.
If that's the case, you might want to try adjusting your midi device's driver settings, or uninstalling your midi device's driver, and then see if GarageBand starts up normally without it.
