When I sync my iPhone 4 (iOS 7) with my computer, the iTunes does not show "iPhone" button right beside the "iTunes Store" button.
Also, iTunes does not detect any device connected to the computer.

i did a clean install of Lion. Than i copied my iTunes Library back from a backup. I configured all my email accounts in Mail. Than i wanted to sync my iPhone. I reconnected it to my iTunes Account and everything was correctly synced, but the email accounts. they do not show up in itunes. On the info-tab of the connected iPhone the part for the email-accounts stays empty. iCal and Adressbook are working fine. What the heck is going wrong?
And please don't tell me to configure the email-accounts manually in the iPhone. I know that this is a workaround, but it is not the solution for the problem.

I can't synch my iPhone with iTunes because the device does not show up in a device window when I plug it in...it's missing in action and thus I'm not able to add any content from the iTunes to my iPhone, e.g. podcasts. All the instructions on synching start with "find your device in the device window". But what if you have no device window?
Missing "message" from above: The iPad "DGMTR" is synced with another iTunes library on DGMTR's MacBook Pro. Do you want to erase this iPad and sync with this iTunes library? An iPad can be synched with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iTunes library.
I thought the libraries were the same. -

i purchased songs via my ipod touch. when I sync'd my ipod touch with my computer, the songs I purchased disappeared into a black hole... how do I get them back without having to repurchase?
On your iPod Touch, open the iTunes app. There should be tab named "purchased", which shows all your purchase history. Choose the "Not on this iPod" tab and you'll get a list of purchased products that are not on your device. Hope this helped.

when i open my emails with outlook first and then with my ipad 4, the ipad does not show me that i have new mail despite that it actually downloads them. iphone 3g and 4s used to show them as new emails. any suggestions?
1. Open iTunes.
2. Click the View option in the iTunes menu.
3. Select the Show Sidebar option.
Connect your phone, select it in the Sidebar...the various tabs will now show as before. -
When using the iphone 6 Plus. I use iMessage and then attach a photo or take a photo... the app does not show the camera fully or even to attach a photo does not work. I have about 8-9000 phones and like 10 short videos in there but it is incredibly slow and almost unable. I have the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus with 46 gb still available. I think this should not be so slow with so much memory still available. Please help. I am using 8.1.2. Yes I have set up the phone as a new phone. After erasing and setting up as a new device, your device is now in a factory configuration. Test to determine if erasing and setting up as a new device resolved the issue. Content on the device may have caused unexpected behavior.
- If the issue is still present, you may want to contact Apple Support.
- If the issue is now resolved, sync one type of content at a time back to the device. For example, if you had an issue playing music, add songs from iTunes and confirm they will play. If your contacts weren't loading successfully, add the contacts back. After each sync, test to see if the issue has returned.

Best practices says plug the USB cable into the computer, then plug the 30 pin connector into the iPhone.
If everything is working correctly, you should be able to plug the iPhone in at any time. Before or after opening iTunes.
Depending on what settings are selected in iTunes, the program may or may not automatically open when you connect the device. -
I have followed instructions for transferring my iTunes library from my MacBook Pro to my iPod. The summary window shows lots of unused memory and it partly fills when I hit "sync," but then returns to nearly empty and the music does not show up on my iPod--"no music." After update to IOS 6.0, on the iPhone 4 and 4s, emails can not be forwarded. I tried to resync, but the update does not show the forwarding buttons anymore.
