When i sync my iphone 4s itunes stucks
I'm using mac and i was syncing my iphone 4s normaly but now when i connect it, the itunes(10.5.3) sync it automaticly and stucks for 3 minutes in preparing to sync apps step. after that it shows a massage which says transfer or dont transfer, i choose "dont transfer" but itunes stucks again in transferring purchases step.
please help
its working now without update itunes. without anything.

I have imported a new CD into my iTunes library on my PC. When I sync my iPhone with iTunes (on my pc), I don't get the new songs (or new CD). I have them on my PC but not on my iPhone. This just started to act this way. It was working in January 2013.

I am using latest version of iOS (5.0.1) and iPhone 4.
My question is stated in the title. I wish to sync iTunes according to my current iPhone settings (i.e. backup my current settings from my iPhone to iTunes), not reinstall apps which I have already deleted.
But when I "sync" my iphone with iTunes, apps which I deleted since the previous backup suddenly appeared in my iPhone.
Any advice is appreciated, thanks.When you sync your phone check the Apps tab in your iTunes sync settings (not the Apps folder under Library on the left sidebar) and confirm that the apps you don't want on your phone are unchecked prior to syncing.

When I sync my iphone and ipad to itunes on my mac, I have a yellow bar listed as "other" taking space on my phone. Is this something that can be cleaned up on the iphone to make the space it is using avail? I have deleted some photos, music and apps to keep open space, but cannot seem to clean out this "other" and it is taking more space as the phone gets older. I assume it is fragmented data????
My phone has 2.14 GB of this "Other" data and it is driving me insane!!! i've been trying everything to reduce this bar and nothing is helping. i'm right there with you... just with a hole lot more data being taken up.

When I sync my iPhone to itunes it shows over 7GB of "other" files.
My phone has been showing a "full" status and when I synced it I saw that no matter how many songs and apps I deleted, the "other" category kept growing. My brother told me about a trick to swipe the "music" section in the "about/ usage" setting and this seemed to get rid of the "other" but it also seemed to mess up my music player app- it keeps skipping through my songs.
I have attempted to fix it using this again but it has not worked. I have over 7GB of "other" files, my voice memos are no longer on my playlist despite selecting it to sync. I also seem to have lost over 200 songs which will not sync. I have only ever purchased music via itunes.
My phone continues to warn me that it is full but I do not know how to get rid of the "other" category. I am surprised to find out that apple charges $35 to get support. Wow.
Any help on this would be great, because I seem to have lost access to my music, I've lost important voice memos, my music app is not playing properly, and my phone continues to warn me that it is full.
Thank you.I should mention that I also did a restore hoping that would solve the problem but it did not, and it was after this that I lost some of my music.

I used to be able to sync my Outlook calendar with my Iphone calendar, but the last few times I tried it did not sync. Help!
Anything. It completes three steps only and when I see the backup in the summary info it reads from yesterday, not today. I also just bought a new mac and updated to IOS 6, so not sure if that has something to do with it.

I'm not sure that recovery mode works when you have to trust the computer, but did you try it?
If you can't update or restore your iOS device - Apple Support
If that won't work, perhaps you can use Find my iPhone from a computer in your iCloud.com account to erase the device.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone. -

The iPhone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to iPhone. The only exception is iTunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

I work at ESPN and just wanted to chime in. We noticed this bug and have already submitted a fix to Apple. We're working with them to get it out asap.
The way scorecenter works has triggered a bug in iTunes itself that Apple is working on separately. Our workaround fix should be available in a few days, tops.

Please help. Every time I try to sync my iphone with itunes it gets stuck at step 2 and just spins. I have iTunes 10.6.3.25 installed. I've even shut down and rebooted. Nothing helps.

When recently syncing my iPhone a message came up regarding transferring purchases or something.. In haste I pressed the wrong reply.. My phone synced, but removed all of the songs I purchased on my iPhone. Although they are still on my iTunes and I can play them.. but they will not sync back to the iPhone what so ever.. Please Help xxxAt the AT&T store. Tried using iCloud but only 120 songs were transferred and when I access my iTunes account now it only shows 120 and not the 450 anymore that I purchased on my old phone. Tried to sync again from the phone to iTunes and it still not working.
I purchased everything under the same apple ID account I called apple support and spent almost 2 hours with tech support for assistance and we got disconected and they never called me back.
I'm at the point where I'm about to never purchase anything anymore from apple go to another company retrieve every single charge made on my bank account from iTunes and file a law suit against the company. It's being a week that I called for assistance and no one called me back to help me with this matter even after I responded a survey with a complaint about not getting a resolution to my problem.
If you could please help me I will appreciate, I'm out of the country now and can't stay on the phone for a long time.
I need to sell my old phone but as right now besides all my bank statements the old phone is the only evidence that I purchased the songs.
