The problem is that you just don't selected the music that you want to import.
You can do this by opening iTunes, search your ipod in the superior bar, select it, then will appear a screen showing the information of your ipod, you can check how many songs are in your ipod, if there says nothing so theres the problem. In the superior bar, select Music, then click on the box "Sync Music", now select the songs you want right down. And press "Sync" That should solve the problem.

My daughter has entered the wrong passcode on her new iPod touch multiple times and now there is an error message on the screen saying iPod is Disabled - connect to iTunes. When I connected it to iTunes, the following error message appeared : 'iTunes could not connect to the iPod touch because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPod before it can be used with iTunes'. This is not possible because the iPod is disabled. The iPod does not appear in as a device in iTunes, nor is it visible as a folder on 'my computer'. iPod has never been synched with any computer and it does not synch when connected to my PC. I have tried re-setting the iPod by holding down both the on/off and home buttons but to no avail. All of help I came across directed me to the device in iTunes but it is not possible to do this. Can anybody help?

You can try using iTunes to reset your iPod to factory settings. If that does not work, then you just go busted for installing beta software.

I have digital copies of Expendables 2 and The Bourne Legacy in my iTunes library. When I sync my iPod Touch, I'm told these movies will not play on my iPod Touch. I haven't had any trouble in the past with digital copies syncing to my iPod Touch. Any suggestions?

any help?Are you positive these podcasts are configured to sync to your iPod Touch? Have you double checked the configuration for podcasts from under the iPod's Podcasts configuration tab in iTunes?
To access this tab, plug your iPod in and click on its name from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the iPod's Summary tab. Locate the Podcasts tab along the top and select it. Here you can choose how and what podcasts sync to your iPod.

Playcount does not sync to iTunes when I sync my iPod Touch
I never had this problem before... When I sync my iPod Touch to iTunes, the playcount does not update anymore. I have no idea if there is an incorrect setting, or if this is just a software update issue, but I really enjoy the playcount. Does anyone know of a fix?

ITunes 10.5 is freezing up when i sync my iPod touch

Can you clear up those Apps in you iPod Touch's multitask window?
Double tap home button to bring up the multitask window. Hold an App in that window until it wiggles. Tap the red button to remove one by one until all window is cleared.
Then do a soft reset of your iPod Touch.
Hold both Home and Sleep button together for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo, then release. After reaching back to Home screen, sync it again and see if it will go through this time. -

My relatively new ipod touch 16 gb either does not show up as a drive or everytime says it does not recognize my ipod when connected to add music. I didn't have problems loading music originally, but this is a new occurrence. Could you help?
Hey, Thanks a lot. It took quite a bit of time to resurrect this ipod. I tried the upgrade again, but still would not recognize my ipod. So I went to the next step and reset my ipod, wiping of all of the information like it was new. This helped my laptop see the ipod on itunes, but did not sync. So, I deleted the itunes off my computer completely, restarted and then reinstalled the newest itunes, and then restarted. Finally, it recognized my ipod and started to download each song. It took awhile as there was 602 songs, but finally it works. Yea!!! I never had any problem with my old nano, but this touch has been another animal for sure. Thank you again and also the community for information. This was a helpful forum and will recommend to others if they get stuck with their ipod or iphone. Take care, Karen

Does anybody know why my ipod touch 3rd generations screen does not show anything? The screen is all black constantly. When I try to synchronise my ipod with my iTunes library it comes up with a message saying " iTunes could not back up the ipod because a session could not be started with the ipod. I recently had my computer redone and had to redownload itunes on my computer and when I synced my ipod none of my music went into my library. How do I get my music that is on my ipod into my library on itunes?
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone . The exception is itunes purchases.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from your ipod: File>Transfer Purchases -
Brand new computer with Windows 8.1 will not sync to iPod Classic 120G. Windows does not recognize anything but iPod Touch? Is there a simple solution. Diagnostics have run and failed to point to a fix.
Might be worth tearing down the whole iTunes install and starting over...
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.
