I have an iPhone 5 that is a little over a year old. When I tap on an ap, instead of opening up, it goes back to the icon page. It has just all of a sudden starting doing this. Anyone know what could be going on? I've tried turning the phone off and then back on. I've tried swiping vs tapping.

Try resetting the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the reset is complete, try again.
Your device isn't jailbroken, is it?

When I try to open my games it acts like it wants to open but then just goes back to the symbol page.

How do I change firefox to open a new window when I start it several times instead of opening a new tab when I want to go to a different location?

I want to go to several different websites at the same time. I want to compare the information on each site. I do not want to open a tab, I want a whole new window. How do I change firefox so it will open a new window instead of opening a new tab and then requesting the site I want to go to?

In Windows XP I am able to right click a link and get an option to open it as a new Firefox window

You will probably note tabs can be dragged along the tab toolbar, they also tear off. You can click a tab and drag it off the browser onto the Windows Desktop where it will open as a new window, or drag it on to another open browser window.
An alternative is to click the tab and drag it down, again it will then open in a new Window.

How do I get back to the first page of an application when I'm in the middle of it?

The shelves should show the ibooks that you've got in the app i.e. your downloaded purchases from the iBookstore. At the top of the shelves there should also be a Store button (for browsing, purchasing, re-downloading books from the iBookstore), and Collections (where any PDFs that you've synced/copied into the app go).

Both Mail and Safari have Activity Options that open a screen that shows you just how the site or mail is loading.
In Safari if you are having trouble with a site in activity you will see the count of items being downloaded - and if an error occurs it shows red.
On the top is the number of items it is loading or trying to load and the count should be increasing. If the count stops, and you don't have errors it may be that too many people are going after the same site and your request just timed out. Have had the time out on a news site when trying to load a most popular article.

Force quit the application and try again.

When I try to open some web sites i am blocked by MOZILLA and redirected to a site I did not want and am unable to close or go back without going back to the home page. Help help help

I have removed the check from the pop up blocked in the MOZILLA options but still get this problem of not being able to open certain sites. The MOZILLA icon appears with the three options available, but before i can click on one I am automatically redirected to a site I did not want, and when I try to go back it will keep coming back to the site MOZILLA put on the computer. I have to close and go back to the home page and start all over again. I have installed a new virus protection system STOPZILLA and could this have any bearing on the problem. After awhile it becomes very frustrating trying to get on line information and being continually redirected. Any ideas?

When I purchase ITunes music, and it is a song from a Greatest Hits album, the Year of the song shows the year the CD was released and not the year the song was released (i.e. a song may be from 1986, but the Greatest Hits album was released in 1999, so my songs in ITunes show 1999). So, I go into each of those songs and change it to the year that I want to be displayed. As long as I don't exit out of ITunes, it will show the year that I changed it to (i.e. the 1986 year in this case). But if I exit out of ITunes and then return to ITunes, the year reverts back to 1999. The same happens if I change the genre of a song from, say 'Pop' to 'Alternative', it will revert back the next time I log in.
Oddly enough, as soon as I right-click on that song to change it back, the year/genre that I had entered returns.
How can I make it so my changes are permanently displayed as I want them? This is pretty annoying when I try to find a song on my Ipod under a certain genre, but it doesn't appear in that genre because the incorrect information gets synched to the Ipod.

Make sure that these two options in Edit > Preferences > Store are turned off:

I assume these are POP accounts and all computers are set to remove from Server after downloading.
So on the non dominant ones... Mail Preferences>Accounts, highlight an account, Advanced tab, uncheck remove from Server, just have the main dominant one remove from server.
Or get/setup IMAP accounts.
