I recently downloaded the latest version of Adobe Reader for my MacBook Air and now when I try to open a new pdf I get the Adobe logo and text in Japanese and nothing else. The pdf doesn't open. Any suggestions? I never had this problem until my cache was cleared and I had to re-install Adobe Reader. Any help would be appreciated.
Just to say I am having exactly the same issue on my MacBook Air. I can't remember what I did but after this happened a few times, and once I had clicked on the Japanese pop up, I managed to do something that now means I get the pop up in English, saying 'Adobe Reader blocked for this website'. When I click on it it asks me to trust the content and then I get a bar with the text in Japanese. Eventually the pdf does open. However it's very irritating that I have to trust every pdf individually which I never had to do before the latest upgrade, and I don't understand why I get messages in Japanese. I will be interested to see whatever answers other more technical people may provide!

My 6th gen nano turns on for a few seconds, then screen goes black and nano goes off. what is wrong with it? can any one help me out? do I need new battery? do I need a full repair? or is there something I can do myself to fix it. Thanks for your help.

It is a pity that I lost all the new features offered by the new firmware , just because Apple staff could not think to try this new update, on ipods with some airtime.
I hope Apple pull out a version 1.3 with the ability to choose the feature detection, and the user can disable it at will. -

thanksTry resetting the SMC 2-3 times, if that does not work then the DVD may need cleaning. Get a dry cleaning kit from your local office supply store.

It appears you do not have a valid payment method in your account. Yu ned one even for free apps (unless you created the account following these instructions)
Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

Try going to Settings>iTunes & App Stores, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with the new ID.

This occurs whether I try to download to itunes on my PC with Windows Vista or to my iPod Touch (4th Gen). Any suggestions please?

Since I upgraded to the latest IOS, I cannot get Itunes to rate my songs. My ratings determine which playlist my songs are entered into. For two days, I've tried to rate the last 4 songs I downloaded but when I click on the songs to bring up the 5 little dots, nothing happens when I click on the applicable dot. Normally I get the stars but not now. Can someone tell me what's going on and what I have to do to make rating a song work? Thank you!

I downloaded your update sent about 10 minutes ago. Ever since I did so, my computer started freezing up for a few seconds, and then it starts going again. This is annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do something to fix this. It started happening with your update.
Why start a new and very similar thread to your other one which you have not responded to (have you read the replies?)

The message also says that PayPal is not enabled on this device. I don't know why it would try to bill PayPal for anything. As far as I know I have not ordered anything except free apps.

We have to protest for it.
If an error occurs with the download and we want to try again, the download MUST continue from the part where was interrupted, no start all again. We have to protest for it. Please, Apple Inc, try to fix it. It's very easy to do. If I am downloading a firmware version from iTunes and an error occurs with the download , you should put a button that reads "Continue the download from the interrupted part", no only a "OK" button that finishes the download and I have to start all again when I want to retry. Solve it, please. -

Before you restore the iPod make sure that your iTunes library has the version of apps that are presently installed on your iPod. Many apps have been update and the update apps are not compatible with the 2G iPod. I would do that by deleting the apps from your iTunes library and then transfer them to iTunes. See:
