When I transfer a playlist, where I modified the songs ending times, it does not transfer as edited to my idvd slide show project. It reverts back to original song times. I am trying to edit songs to match slide show segments.
Any suggestions?
Use Garageband to edit the songs. Save them as new files for use with your slide show. The modifications made in iTunes do not modify the song files, they only tell iTunes how to play the songs.

If you recreated the Outlook profile and still got the same problem, please try to recreate the Windows Profile:
Log on to client using local admin account->rename the profile folder under c:\users.
By the way, did you try to print the mails in OWA?

Why is it that when i connect my ipad the laptop only detects the storage and does not allow me to send any files to it?
The iTunes application is used to transfer content to the iPad.

I had first registered my iPhone with an old laptop, the computer is no longer functional. I cant now transfer music from my iTunes account to my phone, I am not sure what to do any suggestions?
Iphone will sync itunes content with one computer at a time. If you sync to another, it will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.

We add information, eg , name of peron in photo and information about where it was taken, to our photos on one laptop, when they go via the Photostream to our other laptop the information is not transferred. Can this information be transferred, we do not want to have to enter it again on the second computer.

No, only the photo is added to photo stream, your tags etc, are specific to iPhoto. If you want to share more than the photo use shared streams and add comments. -

Quit the mail app then reset your iPad.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
Also, when looking at the list of your emails that have already been delivered tap and pull down on that list then let go. This asked the Mail app to check again. -

I agree. Or if you have a computer, connect your computer to the hotel's wifi, which will allow you to agree to the terms and conditions page, then use the computer to activate your iPad.
There are often issues with iDevices showing that you're connected to public wifi, but unless you can get the terms and conditions page to load so you can agree your connection is a dead end. You're connected but not allowed to do anything. -

If you click on the Photos that Failed to Export collection at the top right does the photo it highlight have a missing indicator?

I adjusted the height of the thumbnails. Still no exclamation points or question marks as noted here.

And as to your last question, I have tried several times to export them to my desktop (which would be on my internal drive, not external). I've even gone so far as to put a copy folder of my original NEF files onto my desktop (7 gb worth) to see if that would help me export...it didn't. -

capability to choose a location other than photos??No. Safari does not have the option to attach files for uploading other than photos.
Look at iCab Mobile in the App Store. There are other browsers that may do this, but I'm pretty sure that iCab will fill the need.

Used Migration Assistant to successfully transfer PC files to Mini. However file creation or modified date does not transfer. Date of creation is listed as day of transfer. I would gratefully appreciate any help in solving this?
I have the same problem; used Migration Assistant to transfer all my pix from PC to MacbookPro, however dates of pix were not transferred. Date created as the date of transfer. Cannot sort my pix according to date.

When I place an Aperture photo on the cloud to share with friends, the idenfifcation information I have entered for the photo does not transfer to the cloud and thus my friends get only the photo. Is there a setting I am missing that would allow the text to go along with the photograph?
The photo stream will transfer the EXIF information set by the camera and the filname/version name. Try to get any information you want to transfer into the filename by batch changing the filename with "write to master" enabled. Aloso, you can set a comment, when sharing the image to the Photo Stream.

There's nothing unusual about that, as the SIM standard is not written to support external data exchanges. In order to synchronize your SIM-stored data, you must first copy or move each contact record into the memory location on your device reserved for contact records not stored on the SIM.
