Hmm that's a great question, let's get to the bottom of this for you. Did you just transfer service to another person or device? Was your phone number changed? Is this for a post paid account or prepaid? Please share additional details to get to the bottom of this for you.

See if the iPad will accept the password after you restart it. It's worth a try.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You could also try a reset as well.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

EVERYTHING that is on your iphone should be on your computer. You should be syncing them regularly. Everything should also be included in your regular backup of your computer.

If your music was purcansed from the iTunes Store and your country allow is you can redownload it

How do I get my contacts back after my phone wiped itself?

I have a password set on my phone and you get 10 attempts before it locks you out. My friend decided to take all 10 of those attempts and failed and right after that a white screen came up and said "wiping". I took my battery out and put it back in and the wiping screen came back up and then it turned on like normal. But all of my contacts and messages are gone, but not my downloaded apps, pictures, ringtones, and stuff like that. Yes the wipe would delete all personal data settings as a security feature designed in the device.
Unless you have used the Blackberry desktop software to get a full backup of the device prior to the wipe the data is gone. If you do have the backup file you can restore the data via the desktop manager.
