When I try and play a tv show in itune on my computer through appletv it takes a very long time to stream how can I speed this up?

I am having trouble watching American Horror Story which I downloaded on itunes. It took hours to download, but once it did I went through my apple TV to play it and it has been streaming to for an hour and it is only half way done. I can not play it while it is streaming either. I can't believe this is the norm because if so no one would use it...
I've looked through trouble shooting and it talks about checking open TCP ports, but I don't begin to understand how to do that.
Can anyone offer any suggestion, tips or a source to fix the problem?

Is your Aperture application installed in your "Applications" folder, or did you move it to a subfolder? If you moved it, put it back into the "Applications" folder. Also check the name. If you renamed it, change the name back again to simply "Aperture" without any additions. Otherwise will the updater not recognize your current installation.

I understand that you are receiving a prompt for an old Apple ID when attempting an update. You cant attempt to reset that password for the Apple ID via the steps in the first article below. If you need assistance with this or are not receiving the email, see the second attached article. You can also delete the applications in question and download them again with your new Apple ID. However, this will cause any application data in those applications to be deleted and you may be charged if these are paid for applications.

After installing Lion my time machine using a Time capsule backups take a very long time, particularly indexing the back up, does any one know why and a fix?

I have installed Lion over Snow Leopard and noticed a marked increase in the time it takes my time capsule/time machine to back up. It seems to spend a very long time indexing the back up. Does any one know why and more importantly is there a "fix"?

The first index with Lion takes a very long time. Could take over 10 hours. You just have to wait. You can see the progress by opening Console and entering backupd in the search box

thats tough man, yeah exchanging it is the best option. But why do people always leave a message saying" i'll probably just by an ipod" and it's usually followed by, "even though i don't like apple or ipod" . This problem only occurs whenever I am using my netbook. It doesn't happen when I use a different computer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling itunes and am not sure what else to do from here.

You may have transferred all your songs, but your iPad is seeing the library as a different entity.

Are you using a proxy server to access the net?
Or another cause could be that your router thinks it's in its home country (probably china)
I just don't know how to fix it. There's a way but I don't know enough to advise.
You could try googling your router model and 'wrong country' or keywords like that and see if something comes up.

Make sure all of the videos used in the project that is having that problem are from the same event. If they are from multiple events, move them all into one event.

Edit the list the comes up when you go to the Window menu and select "Previous Recipients".

You may have an unwanted extension that is modifying sites (or the toolbar area). Try this:
Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that flush the tab?

- Go to Settings>Store and sign out and sign into your account.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

Thanks - let it finish, but zero out data is unnecessary. That option is intended to thoroughly erase previously recorded data so that it cannot be recovered without sophisticated data recovery techniques.
Case sensitive is OK but I suggest you simply select Mac OS X Extended since "case sensitive" may complicate things for you in the future, should it be necessary to restore files to a case-ignorant volume.
Once it finishes, make sure it appears as a selectable option in Time Machine. If it does your problems are solved, but consider using Disk Utility and reformatting it. This time don't worry about zeroing unused space, and select Mac OS X Extended (Journaled). It will only take a few seconds this time.
