If your computer is a Mac use the Disk Utility and "Repair Permissions". If it's Windows I don't have any idea how to fix it.

You are told that you do not have permission to modify your iTunes Media folder when downloading from the iTunes Store.
You cannot play content you purchased from the iTunes Store.
An alert appears with the following text:"There was an error storing your authorization information on this computer. The required directory was not found or has a permission error."

I have an ipod touch 5th generation 64g . Just bought a new laptop and authorised it to use itunes library. When i try and sync my ipod it says it can't do it because there isn't enough space on my ipod to hold everything in the itunes library. I already know that i can't fit everything on my ipod but when using my old laptop i was able to choose what i wanted to sync. Now i don't seem to have the option of choosing what i can sync, it just refuses to do it as there isn't enough space. Why is this???

when I try and send emails from any of the 3 email accounts on my iphone 3 it will send to some accounts but not to each other message says " server has recjected the recipients email"

It might be that it doesn't like your choice of name or folder. What name are you saving to?

To be honest I'd be very tempted to ring Applecare and explain that prior to downloading iOS5 your iPod Touch worked perfectly however since downloading Apple's new iOS5 it's "bricked" therefore can they as a matter of decency try to help put things right warranty situation notwithstanding. Afterall it does appear to be one of Apple's products that has broken your previously working iPod Touch.

when i connect my iphone to my laptop and open itunes it shows my iphone has nothing on it(no music, no movies, etc...) then when i try to sync it says iphone is is full and can only put in a selected amount of songs. I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. I downloaded my sons ipod 5g with the latest iOS and now when we try to sync it says we have no space, but there is nothing but a few apps on his ipod and he has plenty of space. The messege says that most of is space is taken up by video but there is no video or music on his ipod right now. I've tried to reset his ipod but that did not help the problem. What can I do?
