When i try logging into my account to open my laptop..it freezes and doesnt allow me to log in why is this happening?
to use my laptop i have to login to my account but most of the time it freezes and does not allow me to type my password. why is this happening? does it mean i have a virus? how can i fix this problem? because it is really annoying since my only solution is to restart my laptop

Run OnyX > Verify > Preferences and write down any corrupt ones, move them to your trash and reboot (they get rebuilt)

Stick the disk that comes with the Mac in and reboot holding c
A couple of screens in is a Utilities Menu with "DiskUtility" launch that and select your drive on the left.
Repair Disk and Repair Permissions.
Quit and exit the installer, reboot.

You could try to reset your iPod. Here is how:
1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Try resetting the iPod while it is connected to power.

Whenever I try to watch movies on iTunes on my computer, the video will randomly freeze, but the audio will continue. This happens will all of my shows, however this never happens on my iPod or iPad. Whenever I attempt to print something from Firefox it comes out tiny on the piece of paper. I have tried changing the printer settings, I have double checked the print preview, but whenever it comes from Firefox everything is shrunk. I do not have this issue within any other program, just Firefox.
No change. I reset value of the stand alone printer.print line and printed a few emails and got the same kind of error.
Did note that when I printed plain text emails the only part that is unreadable is the message header (body of the email is fine). If I print a message with anything beyond plain text it is all unreadable (some of the included pictures/graphics do print ok though).
There were a number of other printer.print lines with the Brother printer identification followed by header, footer etc. that appeared to be like a page setup type of thing. Would it be worth removing these printer/lines altogether and starting over with it? -

When i Log into instagram it say my account is disable but when i log in on another iphone my instagram account log's in. HELP !!I just asked the same thing and did some research. Some people have said that the UDID code is like banned from instagram, but your account isn't. I'm able to use it on my phone but not on my iPod.

First, make sure caps lock is not on.
You must back up all data before continuing, unless you've already done so. If you need to back up but can't log in, ask for instructions.
If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise*, boot into Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. In the Terminal window, type this:

Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.

When I try logging onto YouTube from my iPad app it gives me authentication error. no they are already in mp3 format I just tried that home sharing today because I couldnt find any other reason why they werent syncing. here is an example of a sync I just tried. I made an mp4 concert into an mp3 it came out perfect on my computer.. then I tried to sync it to my ipad with no luck, other than it going on my computer, it did not show up anywhere on my ipad in any area of the music sections etc playlists, songs, albums etc. Its just not there but remains on my computer. thats why I tried the home share today to see if that would help. Either I am really missing something or there is something wrong with this ipad. Did you ever have any trouble like this, does anyone? and what is something good to try? thank you again for answering! I appreciate it.

To repeat my question, Apple offered to install iCloud, and I allowed it. Yet when I try to sign in to iCloud using my Apple ID email and pswrd--an ID that I've been using for YEARS--I'm given the message, "This Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account." What is going on?
Everywhere I search on Apple's Support site says to sign in to iCloud using your "Apple ID," which I did. I've had my iTunes account for years (even migrated from the old AOL account system). It's the standard email+password that everyone is supposed to use.
My main question is how can I have a valid Apple ID and not an iCloud account--if the two are supposed to be linked?

tljI've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. I'm looking to move from my Ti 1Ghz G4 to a newer Macbook Pro C2D, and i've a question about using the internal HD on the MBP. On my old TiBook, ive popped in a 100GB 7200rpm drive, and from this i've been able to acheive around 44 to 46 stereo track
