When I try to activate Java plug in it keeps failing when I try to activate it. How can I get the Java plugin to activate on FireFox.Java has been updated.
I tried activating the plugin at osgov.com/webcam.html to see the web cam. I keep getting an error message that the plug in failed when i try to activate it when I am on firefox.

Either your antivirus/firewall is blocking access to gs.apple.com, your iphone is jailbroken, or your computer was used at some time in the past to hack or jailbreak this or some other iOS device. The first you can fix by disabling your security software. The 2nd you can't do anything about, and the 3rd you fix by editing your hosts file and removing the lines containing gs.apple.com.

What type of connection are you using on your monitoe, if DVI, DVI doesn't carry audio, you will need to use the optical connection for audio. -
I purchased Adobe Acrobat x Pro recently and installed it, I have compatibility issues vision 2013. The adobe pdf converter plug in stays inactive despite all my efforts to activate it, I need help with this? How can i get the plug in to work with Visio 2013?
For MS Visio (any version) only the appropriate version of Acrobat *PRO* provides PDFMaker for Visio.
For Visio 2013 specifically you must have Acrobat XI Pro (updated to at least 11.0.1).

PC went south. Geeks brought it back. PS elements and premier 11 can't start. Error msg sez configuration incorrect needs to be reinstalled. When I load the disk I get a blank screen. Try to uninstall and can't find apps i control panel. How can I get the apps back?

Although the security of Windows XP SP3 32 bit is compromised by Microsoft no longer supporting XP, if Windows XP was restored as claimed, you should still be able to install/uninstall Premiere Elements versions of it that you did before the Microsoft support removal.
I think a revisit to the Geeks would be in order. It may be that they could not restore Windows XP because of the Microsoft non support. I would take along the Premiere Elements installation disks so that you do not leave there without actually seeing Premiere Elements (or a non Adobe program) running on your restored Windows XP. What was the other software that you tried to use that did not work?

I downloaded an album but one of the songs is corrupted, it only plays for about 4 seconds. When I try to re-download using the iTunes Store and "Purchased", it won't give me the option to download it again. How can I get the song I PAID for!!??
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

I am trying to sync contacts from my iPhone to Mac. When I plug in my iPhone, I do not get the Info tab in iTunes (as mentioned in how to sync on this website). How can I get the info tab to appear?
Since the release of Mavericks (OS X 10.9) syncing contacts and calendars with a Mac via iTunes is no longer supported. The currently supported method is via iCloud. Setup instructions: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/

I lost my iTunes library on my pc when the hard drive crashed. None of the data on the drive was recoverable and I did not have a backup either locally or on the cloud. Much of the music is from old vinyl and podcasts which are no longer available.
How can I get the music that resides on my ipod nano (4th generation) back onto the new hard drive on my pc.
I have been reluctant to install iTunes on the new hard drive out of fear that I will lose all the contents on the ipod if I try to synch to the new hard drive.
Help!No backup is a huge mistake.

When I turn on Messages, I can't see my messages. All I can see is a screen with horizontal lines. How can I get the regular Messages screen back?
The same is happening for me. Today I decided to reboot my PC because it was acting up a bit, go figure, and then for some reason at the same time the PC was restarting my macbook froze. I had to do a reboot with the restart button but then all that came up was a gray background and in the middle of the screen was a darker gray folder with a white question mark in the middle of it, blinking. I can't imagine why the restart would've affected my macbook. After finding information on how to fix this, I tried all of the steps that were given about using the mac OS X disk to use the first aid utility to fix it. When using the Disk Utility option whenever I select my hardrive and am in the First Aid tab, the only button I can use is the Verify Disk Permissions. The other three buttons, and namely the most important Repair Disk button, is/are not selectable (grayed out). I then tried resetting the PRAM the way they also said with the command + option + P + R and waited for the second startup sound. After that I gave the Disk Utility a second try, but still nothing. And now if I try to just reinstall the OS completely I can't even select a destination volume on the third step (Select Destination). Apparently this means i'm SOL.

To put a monitor to the events occuring in the GHUI u need to register required components with the appropriate EventListeners.
Liek if u want to get notified when a mouse is clicked, then u need to add The MouseListener to the component which u want to be monitored.
Say
myFrame which is the JFrame object which shuld be monitored for the events.
Then in ur program u have to add following code
myFrame.addMouseListener( someObectReference );
Here the someObjectReference should be an instance to a concrete class ..i.e. U write a class like the following
public class MyMouseListener implements MouseListener {
// override the followig methods
public void mouseClicked(MouseEvent me){ sop("MOUSE CLICKED ON THE FRAME");}
public void mousePressed(MouseEvent me){}
public void mouseReleased(MouseEvent me){}
If u dont want to use another class for listening to the events. Then u can make teh current class monitor the events. To do so ur class should implement the appropriate listener and should override the required methods.
and u should say myFrame.addMouseListenet( this );

Should have purchased XI. According to Compatible web browsers and PDFMaker applications you will need Acrobat 11.0.1 -and- to be running the 32-bit Visio.

To access pseudo columns you can specify an alias or use the index on the column (e.g. getInt(1)).
