When I try to connect my iPhone to my laptop to import photos and videos it says there are no files or folders under "Apple Iphone". My laptop recognises my phone and my camera roll has around 300 photos and videos but none of them come up on my laptop?
The memory on my Phone is really bad so i cant store much. The pictures i am trying to import are really important and i cant lose them. My phone has been playing up a lot and im afraid of losing the pictures so tried to import them onto my laptop. Its a windows 8 and every time i connect my iphone a window automatically opens titled "Apple iphone" but underneath it says "no files or folders". How can i resolve this?
Also the apple store have told me not updating may be causing problems but i cant update due to no space. i have 3 apps, around 300 photos/videos and no music. it is 16gb so i dont know why im having this problem

If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPad on some other networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. Contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

When I try to take photos off my ipad it says there are no files
I'm trying to take the photos off of my ipad and put them onto my pc that is running on windows 7.
When I connect my ipad to my laptop it shows it as a camera device but when I click internal storage and then the DCIM folder there are no photos there.
I also tried right clicking on my ipad and clicking import pictures and videos but it says there are 0 files.
All of the photos have been taken on my ipad and are definetly there.

Ok Fellas, let me give you a clue: Games, particularly those that make heavy use of graphics and sound are notoriously power hungry. In fact, when I was in the Navy many years ago, the folks working on the NTDS (Navy Tactical Data System) computers used a version of Space Invaders to load test the AN/UYK-43 computers.
I have also noticed that all of my laptops (I have a brand new Toshiba dual core, an older Toshiba single core, plus 2 Dell dual core machines) have significantly shorter battery life when I play Company of Heroes than when I am just reading e-mail or surfing the 'Net. I have also noticed the same behavior when I play games on my 4th gen Touch and my iPhone 4.
The fact is, iOS 5 did make some major improvements as well as adding some nice functionality like iMessage, wireless synch, and such, but the down side is that depending on how you use the device battery life can be shorter that what you may have experienced with pervious versions of iOS. Its just the nature of the beast...

iPhoto won't recognize my iPhone 3Gs. just says there's an "apple iPhone" instead of the device name, and says there are no files to download, but there are 62 items on my phone... what's going on? as far as I can tell I have everything up to date and it's always worked in the past.
Have you already confirmed your Mac as a trusted device? Try this:
Lauch iTunes.
Connect the Phone/iPad
When it asks you to trust it, say yes.
Now try again to import. -
can't get my epson sx535wd to work. my epson will get contact with my router (sitcom wl306) and my mac is on wifi, but they can't connect. epson can't find the computer and my report says: there are conflicting channels on my router or entry point. please help
OK, let's try these................
1 - Boot up from your install DVD and run "Repair Disk" from the Utility menu. When done, restart back to your desktop, repair permissions and restart your computer. Re-connect your printer.
2 - Download & install the Gimp drivers. Make sure the one you install is compatible w/your OS-Gutenprint 5.2.8-pre1. Repair permissions, restart your computer & re-connect your printer when done.
The Epson model I have, in order to get it to print wirelessly, I had to install a Gimp driver.

If still unsuccessful after trying all of the above, the problem could be your iBook or human error. You can either call Epson & ask to speak with a Mac savy supervisor or return the printer & find another that is compatible w/your current OS. -
I have a avchd file approx 15min in length on a sdhc card. My camera says there is one file. When I put the card in the PC ( Win8.1), the PC says there are 2 files, one is 11mins approx and the other is 4mins long approx. If I bring these files into premier CS6 they are both identical length of 15mins What is going on here??
Hi and thanks... kinda getting there but still unsure WTF. I have found that the files are split at 197gb (consistent with other uses on the web), however when I import them into premier cs6 they are 15mins and 29secs, on the SDHC card the file size is 197gbfor the larger, then the shorter one is 634mb. BUT when I import both files into premier cs6 they are identical size and length both are 15.29.19 or 15mins 29sec and 19frames. I have put the card in the camera and run that as an external and it sees the files as 2 split files while if I view the files straight off the camera there is only 1 file. Why it says there are 2 files of different sizes and premier imports them as 2 identical files is a mystery to me! I have also gone back and looked at some archived footage on another card and yes there was one split file when the size exceeded 197gb but of course when I imported that footage nothing was missing because cs6 imported the file as a complete 'take' of the whole length

IIt's says there are no purchases.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature) -
Why does my phone hide my camera roll option in my photo app
When looking at my photo albums on my photo app, my camera roll album is up at the top under the header for the screen. Because of this you can't select it. The only way to view them is to select camera app and then at the bottom left of my camera screen select photos.

I have a MacBook Pro and using Mountain Lion. Adobe automatically updated flashplayer and that wouldn't allow me to use my camera with skype. I uninstalled flashplayer but cannot install an older version, when I try I get, "Safari can't open the "playerglobal11_4.swc" because no available application can open it."
First repair permissions and restart your computer. Reinstall the latest version of flash player. Again repair permissions and restart your computer.

USB not loading and saying there are no files...
My USB has content but won't load properly: the drive shows on the desktop but with no name - just quotation marks when referenced.
When i open it the folder it says it's empty, but when I 'get info' there is over 12gb taken up.
I tried to use disk utility but it say it "error:live file system repair is not supported"
Despite the fact that it won't load properly, it won't let me eject as it says its in use - however I have closed every possible programme that could be using it and restarted my macbook several times.
When I try to use the USB on a Windows PC pretty much the same happens - showing empty even though it says half of the space is taken up.
So do I need to look at trying to recover the files that are on there or is it not too late to get this sorted? I'm very new to using Macs so any help would be much appreciated!Pics synced to your iphone from your computer are one way- computer to iphone.

I just bought a new toshiba laptop and I am trying to download the pictures off of my iphone 4s on to my laptop. The laptop keeps trying to download the pictures and it stops part way through and says "No files to download" meaning that I have to pictures on my iphone, which is not true because there are about 600 picture that i wanted to put onto the computer..
