When I try to connect to Google Calendar through Firefox I get a "problem loading page" message. What do I need to do to fix this?
The message states: The page isn't redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
Cookies are enabled.

What do i do?Did this just started to happen recently? If so, have you done any updates on your Mac? Does this happen when connected either by wireless or with a wired connection to the Internet? Does this happen when connected to another wireless network or just yours?

When I try to open a new window in Firefox, I get the following error message:
"Not Found
The requested URL /en-US/firefox was not found on this server."
...but other websites, such as Google or CNN.com, work just fine.
I'm running Firefox 3.6.28 on my MacBook Pro, with OS 10.4.11. I can't update to the latest version of Firefox unless I update my OS, which would be costly and also involve increasing my RAM.
But the Firefox homepage worked fine until this morning. Is this likely to be a temporary glitch? If not, how can I fix it?

EmmyAt least at the moment, the default Firefox homepage is back! So maybe this was a momentary glitch. But see below.

Though I have doubts for success, you might try a SMC reset. It can do no harm. Otherwise, barring suggestions from others, the Apple Store or qualified repair facility is the last option.

If an extension needs to be unpacked then there should be an unpack directive (<nowiki><em:unpack>true</em:unpack></nowiki>) in the install.rdf file of that extension.

When trying to import videos off of a CD I continually get error code -36 on one of the videos. How can I fix this?
Contact Apple and request a 10.4 or possibly a 10.5 distribution disk for this system, if you've not obtained that DVD disk from the seller.
Boot and use that distribution disk to wipe the hard disk via Disk Utility, and to then reinstall OS X.
Best to start with a fresh installation of OS X, as that'll provide the default environment and not something that's been customized and extended by the previous owner.
The last OS X version that was supported for most PowerMac G5 systems was 10.5.8, and that would be preferable — if your Mac supports that.
If you're not sure which Mac you have, then use the > About This Mac from the menu and request more information on the system. You're looking for a model number listed there, and that'd be something like PowerMac7,3 or PowerMac11,2 for a ~2005-vintage PowerMac system. Whatever model number you have can then be used to determine the general specs for the configuration, and what the last version of OS X that was supported for the system. -
I have an iphone 4s and when I try to connect to my shared library I see an icon of a circle that only becomes half full. It does not connect. I also have an ipad, which connects without incident. My itunes library is larger than the capacity of both devices, so that cannot be the issue. How can I get the phone to connect with my shared library?
My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine. We always manually manage our music (no auto sync). iTunes is up to date on the PCs. My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?
