"If you delete your account, all documents and Photo Stream photos stored in Icloud will be deleted from this iPod touch" comes up. Will I lose all my data stored on my iPod?

You will only lose your iCloud data, That includes iCloud backup, iCloud Contacts and Calendar, Reminders, Notes, everything listed in Settings>iCloud

Start with the section Install missing components which should address your particular error. Otherwise the steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT) as you start iTunes, then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

You won't lose anything because you have a back up, right?
Most Simple Back Up
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex:
Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically. Examples of such apps: Chronosync or DejaVu . But are many others. Search on MacUpdate
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

If this is becuase you cannot access your old account I would try everything first before making a new account.

If you delete the icloud account from your device it will remove the photostream and documents stored in the cloud from the device (if you're using iwork or another app that uses icloud to sync documents).
Photos from the camera roll will still be there.
It will ask if you want to keep the contacts, calendars, reminders, and bookmarks.
If you want to save your contacts choose "Keep on my iphone"

Deleting the backup only permanently deletes the backup from iCloud. It doesn't do anything to the data currently in your account or on your devices. To delete it, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of the device that you want to delete the backup for, then tap Delete Backup.
You can't see anything in an iCloud backup, if that's want you're asking. You can only restore it to your device. You can, of course, see your other iCloud data.

You will wait for the rest of your life. You need to fix it; no one else will. To turn off "Find my iPhone" and its associated Activation Lock you need the Apple ID and password that were used to turn it on. i think.... It is crashing because it has no memory to move around. suggest - resync with your 'puter. on the photos tab, do not reload (sync0 a bunch of the existing photos, and deal with them - deleting or otherwise - on you computer.
Otherwise - you have no option but to remove stuff from the pad - music, apps, videos etc to give you enough space to move.

Do you see an error message when trying to sync the apps to the iPhone?
All you have to do is connect the iPhone to the computer, click apps above the picture of the iPhone in iTunes, choose Apps, and then select the apps that you want to sync.
