It sounds like you have a a password-protected PDF. The password was set by the person who encoded it.

Did you somebody else download apps or other content on your iPad in the past? Do you share the iPad?
You can sign into your own ID in Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID but that does not resolve what is going on here.

I also had this problem. Go to settings> itunes & app store, tap on your apple ID and sign out. Then open itunes store. It should now open.
Then sign back in again and the problem should be resolved

What you are getting is the AppleID (AppleID can be an email adress) used at the time of the purchase of this app. It is an identifiant allowing Apple to link your purchase to your account.
If you want to manage associated email, you can go at https://appleid.apple.com but the AppleID could never be modified.
I do not know if in your case, it is just that you no longer use your old email address or that you actually a 2 AppleID. In any case, you will have to remember the password related to the account used for your purchase. If you don't, just use the link above to try to retreive your password.

These types of messages often indicate a problem with the devices serial number, have you had your phone repaired at any stage or did you buy it second-hand.

You are getting this message because you are trying to create an iCloud account on a PC. You can only create iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a Mac running OS X Lion (10.7.5) or higher. After creating your account on one of these devices you will then be able to sign into the account using this ID on your PC.

My current version of Chrome is having problems, too! It's so annoying. Anyone have any suggestions now? I basically can't view or download any PDFs because of this.
Does anyone else think this is a problem not only with Adobe? I would think Apple would have something to do with this? Wouldn't they get some idea from the developer versions that no browser can open PDFs while running Lion!? My Apple ID comes up correctly everywhere EXCEPT WHEN I TRY TO BUY OR UPDATE apps. I went to the Apple store when this problem started as the ID was wrong in many places. I left believing that everything was fixed. Now I am stuck again & being that it is rather incontinent to keep going back to the store, I thought someone may have run into this problem before. There can be any number of reasons why the battery dies faster. Apps running in the background, Apps stuck that are not releasing. The fact it gets warm has to do with use. If you are using graphics/processor intensive apps/games, then the device will warm up. If it gets too hot to touch, that is a different story.

You must open an iCloud account on an Apple device, a Mac (10.7.5 or higher) or an iPhone/iPad (IOS5 or higher)
Once you have opened an iCloud account you can sign into and use it on your PC.

Of course your password shouldn't work on a different Apple ID. This can happen for many reasons, no worries, just sign out back back in using your own ID.
