everytime i try to download an app wether its free or not i get a message sayin can not connect to the store any ideas y?
On your computer go to iTunes>Store>Check for Available Downloads like the message says. For some reason it will not download directly on your iPod.

Are you sure you have the newest version of iTunes 11 and newest version of iOS6? Go to Software Update and make sure you do.

Before you restore the iPod from the backup that Dave had you make yu have to transfer stuff from the iPod to the computer since the backup does not contain the apps themselfes, music, synced phots and some other stuff. To see what a backup contains see:

i have money on my account, and the app i'm trying to download are for free. This has never happened before and not quite sure why its happening now, want to know what to do
That's just verifying that it's actually you downloading the app I believe.
If the app is free, it's free, verifying your payment info won't cost you anything
So just verify all your info on there and it should work, it's possibly because you haven't downloaded an app in a while, or you haven't downloaded an app on that iDevice yet, I dunno, Apple asks me to verify my info sometimes too.

Nothing you doing wrong, there is just not enough space on your phone.

(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

I got an 15 dollar iTunes card for Christmas. I took a picture of the card code to redem the card I accomplished that but when I try to download an app that cost money it asks me two security questions that I forgot the awnsers to. Than I click the forgot security questions than it sends it to my email but that's the problem I do not get any email.
You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of doing so include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
