When I try to download, I get a message that says that my computer must be rebooted to finish uninstalling a previous version of Firefox. After rebooting and going through the process again, the Install Wizard gives me the same message. I get the same message every time. What do I do?
Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

My MacBook says I have 17.41 GB available but the Mac App Store will not let me dowload OS X Lion. It says "We could not complete your purchase. Mac OS X 10.7 requires at least 2 GB of memory."
What does this mean? This is confusing me.The warning is in regard to RAM memory not space on your hard drive. Your computer needs 2 GBs of RAM for Lion. You will need to upgrade your RAM to at least 2 GBs in order to use Lion. I suggest more if the computer can accommodate more than 2 GBs.

What size ??GB is the download file? How much free storage space do you have?
The ??GB is the download file compressed size (like .zip or .dmg). When the file is installed/uncompressed it can be 2-3 times larger.
How much space is your Other using? You may be able to reduce.

Also, if you really do not know or sure of what you are doing,
Before embarking on a major OS upgrade, it would be wise, advisable and very prudent if you backup your current system to an external connected and Mac formatted Flash drive OR externally connected USB, Thunderbolt or FireWire 800, Mac formatted hard drive. Then, use either OS X Time Machine app to backup your entire system to the external drive OR purchase, download, install and use a data cloning app, like CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper to make an exact and bootable copy (clone) of your entire Mac's internal hard drive.
This step is really needed in case something goes wrong with the install of the new OS or you simply do not like the new OS, you have a very easy to return your Mac to its former working state.
Then, determine if your Mac meets ALL minimum system install requirements.
To install Mavericks, you need one of these Macs:
iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later),
MacBook Pro (15-inch or 17-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later)

If you run any older Mac software from the earlier PowerPC Macs, then none of this software will work with the newer OS X versions (10.7 and onward). OS X Snow Leopard had a magical and invisible PowerPC emulation application, called Rosetta, that worked seamlessly in the background that still allowed older PowerPC coded software to still operate in a Intel CPU Mac.
The use of Rosetta ended with OS X Snow Leopard as the Rosetta application was licensed to Apple, from a software company called Transitive, which got bought out, I believe, by IBM and Appe could no longer secure their rights to continue to use Rosetta in later versions of OS X.
So, you would need to check to see if you have software on your Mac that maybe older than, say, 2006 or older.

If you have any commercial antivirus installed and/or hard drive cleaning apps installed on your Mac, like MacKeeper, CleanMyMac, TuneUoMyMac, MacCleanse, etc. now would be a good time to completely uninstall this apps by doing a Google search to learn how to properly uninstall these types of apps.
These types of apps will only cause your Mac issues later after the install of the new OS X version and you will have to completely uninstall these types of apps later.
Once you have determined all of this, you should be able to find the latest version of Mavericks by clicking on the Mac App Store icon in the OS X Dock and then login to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID and password.

I bought a used iPod touch and when I try to set up my iCloud account, it says that the maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this device. Is there a way around this? I thought I could maybe set up the account on my PC and go from there, but it won't let me do that. It is forcing me to set up on the iPod. MY hard drive crashed and I had to replace it. Now when I try to sync my iPod with iTunes it says that I have to replace the old library (that is lost forever) with the new library to sync. I do not want to lose all the songs on my iPod! What can I do?
Copy all the content on your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes. Then go ahead and sync the iPod with your new library.

You are using PPPoE but there is no server to authenticate against.. or the modem is already connected and nothing else can join.
Is this ADSL?
Do you have the modem in bridge?
How does it work with the modem working as router? ie what type of connection does your ISP supply.. eg PPPoE is only one.. PPPoA is another.. IPoA or ETHoA.. and sever other more specialised.. PPPoE can only work where it is supported. -

I also have an account password file to keep track of user login data: user name, email address used, password, so this is not a matter of just forgetting the account name etc. I just updated to Firefox 29, though this could be coincidental.
I use windows 7, with latest updates & patches.Firefox 29 introduced a new sync mechanism. This new system has only been around for about 2 months, so it is likely that you actually don't have an account. You can see help information for the new Sync here: [[How to update to the new Firefox Sync]].
