This could be a read/write permissions issue with the destination folder for the catalog. Use your favorite search engine to search for changing disk permissions. What operating system are you using?

Problem when I try to download the IOS4 for my iPod Touch 2G

I am from Bella Vista, Buenos Aires, Argentina and I have the following problem:
I have an iPod Touch 2G, I installed the lastestversion of iTunes and every time i connect my device to my pc via usb, iTunes opens and a window apears telling to me that I can update it to IOS 4.0. I clic on Only Download (I want to download the new firmware and update later).
The download starts correctly, but in the middle of the download a error message appears. The window says that a problem occurred with the download, try again later. Error number: 9006 (Unknown).
Questions:
a)- if this error occurs in the middle of the download... Why does not iTunes prompt me an option to continue the current download when I try to do it the next time? (I have to start a new download again when I try to download the firmware again. The firmware size is 300 mb. The error window only shows me an OK button and the transfer is interrupted. When I try to download the firmware again, the download should continue from the part where was interrupted, no start all again. Apple should fix this issue). I have to tell you that I tried several times downloading the firmware and I always got this error window and I really HATE it. Please, gime me a solution for my problem and try to fix the issue that I showed above. (When I'm downloading a firmware version from iTunes and the download is interrupted by a "X" problem or error, when I try to download it again, the download should continue from the part where it was interrupted, no start all again). I will be hoping for a good solution. Thanks and I have to tell you that you manufacture very amazing products. Ipod Touch, one of my favourite Apple's products. My big dream: I want to have an iPhone 4Well!

If an error occurs with the download and we want to try again, the download MUST continue from the part where was interrupted, no start all again. We have to protest for it. Please, Apple Inc, try to fix it. It's very easy to do. If I am downloading a firmware version from iTunes and an error occurs with the download , you should put a button that reads "Continue the download from the interrupted part", no only a "OK" button that finishes the download and I have to start all again when I want to retry. Solve it, please. -

When I try to download the latest version of iTunes from apple.com, I get the message "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate."When I open iTunes and try to download the latest version there, I get the message "iTunes has an invalid signature. The download has been removed." I have also gotten an Internet Script Error stating that an error has occured in Line 0, Char O and that "Access is denied to images.apple.com/global/scripts/lib/iepngfix.htc." This problem has never occurred with earlier versions of ITunes. Anyone know how to fix this problem?
Are you downloading iTunes form an Apple website or somewhere else? If the answer is somewhere else, try downloading it from Apple. Click on iTunes in the black menu bar above and go from there.

Thank youThe thread running through your explanation has to do with connectivity to your server. (iCloud out of the blue asking for password, unable to message your boyfriend, unable to access e-mail). You said that you boyfriend restart his device and then the two of you were able to then imessage. My best advice for you would be to go to settings to reset to reset network settings. Once this has been done you then will need to enter the name and password of your wifi. ONce this is done you then can attempt to check to see that all passwords are enter correctly.

Ok I cant find a way to fix this so I basically cant use my Verizon Iphone 4 because it wont connect on an old version...OK. You may have to reinstall everything from scratch but follow following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

I get a problem like yours. I have a mac mini with 2 hdds the server and hd2 I installed windows 7 and the windows works fine. except it will not allow me to get on the net. I get error 651. I can boot back to lion and the internet connection works. I googled and error 651 does seem to show up. I would like a work around.
