my girlfriend hack my ipod (the newest generation) when i was in the shower, my iPod is 4.3.5. i bought a new computer "hp" when i connected my ipod, iTunes pop a new window, that said that i needed to download the new software, I can't downloaded it cuz, the window said that there was an error and it was because the internet and other stuff, then another window came up, and said that if I wanted to download, and upgrade my iPod or erase all and i don't know what to do, cuz i have a lot of songs, and almost my hole life is in there, just kidding, please answer me the fastest that you can.

When I try to sync my books to my iPod Touch it say's i have no books.

I plugged my iPod into the computer. I clicked on my iPod. I want to sync books so I clicked on books. I clicked sync books. It said I have no books. I do have books. When I click books on the sidebar it says i do but when I go back to my iPod it still says I don't have any. The books I want on my iPod are checked. So I don't understand why I can't sync them to my iPod.

Updated to IOS6 and now my apps will not update on the Ipad2. I have to delete them and then re-install. But I have several hundred apps and this is cumbersome. Seems the new software is too buggy. I am telling people not to update software yet.

Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

thats tough man, yeah exchanging it is the best option. But why do people always leave a message saying" i'll probably just by an ipod" and it's usually followed by, "even though i don't like apple or ipod" . I mean fine, if u feel like giving up on the zen micro thats fine, i personally don't care if you're going to buy an ipod. for god sakes ipod isn't even the next alternati've mp3 players, theres plenty. Are u just trying to get the creative people saying "oh man we lost another one to ipod" cuz i'm sure they don't lose sleep over u wanting to buy an ipod instead of a zen. *done ranting*

I found an article from Apple that specifically outlines how to try and troubleshoot this issue. It's called iPhone: Troubleshooting activation issues found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3424.
Resolution
Perform the following steps if you receive one of the messages above:
Restart the iPhone.
Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.
Try connecting to Wi-Fi if you're unable to activate using a cellular data connection.
Try connecting to iTunes if you're unable to activate using Wi-Fi.
Restore the iPhone.
If you receive an alert message when you attempt to activate your iPhone, try to place the iPhone in recovery mode and perform a restore. If you're still unable to complete the setup assistant due to an activation error, contact Applefor assistance.

If your ipad had no problems before, then it is your computer then may fail you. Try to restart computer and ipad.Try to disable antiviruses. If that happens again and you have apple store close by you can set up appointment, or try another computer.

You can not add events to the birthday's calendar. To add birthday's to the birthday calendar you need to add the birthday to a contact in the Contacts app.
You can set your default calendar here:
iCal > Preferences > General > Default Calendar and chose the calendar you want to default to.

Since downloading the "NEW' itunes my ipod touch will not sync correctly - songs I've added to playlists on my pc and podcasts that have newly downloaded do not synk to my ipod - I want the old version back with the album cover display - help

Now running itunes version 11.0.1.12 since the update I've added songs to playlists and they won't sync - I was able to get the songs into my ipod library by downloading from the cloud but they wouldn't even sync from my pc library to my ipod - when I first downloaded this crappy update - so sorry i did - the thing wouldn't sync at all after rebooting my windows xp pc three times it says it syncs fine and goes through all the motions but it won't pull over new content at all - songs or podcasts - on top of that the new version seems to have done away with the album cover display - I just got an android phone as a gift i was going to take back I may keep it now and drawer my beloved ipod now that apple has made it obsolete
