The latest beta update for Firefox, version 3.6.4, prevents plugins from crashing Firefox. Instead, when a plugin crashes, only the plugin itself will be affected.

I started investigating, came up with a weird Pareto Logic UUS error, fixed that. Unistalled Firefox through the Control Panel. Used IE to again download & install latest Firefox. At the end of installation, the dialog box askes "Lauch Firefox now?" which I checked & clicked the Finish button. Nothing happened. I rebooted & tried to launch Firefox from the Start menu, then from the root .exe - no luck. IE launches fine; I just want my Firefox back!

PSE 13 crashes whenever I try to save a file. It worked last week and no longer works. I tried trashing the preference file. That didn't fix the problem.

I installed PSE 13 three weeks ago. It worked well for a while, then started to crash whenever I tried to save a file for the web. I trashed the preferences. That didn't seem to help. PSE 11 still works well on my Mac, so I think it's a software problem. I also ran the permissions repair on Disk Utility. I have Yosemite on a MacBook Pro with 4 GB of RAM.

I've not used Keynote 5.3 in OS 10.7.5 in quite some time, but I do know that in more current OS versions there is a Saved Application State folder in the Username/Library folder which can get corrupted/ messed up when an application crashes. The User Library folder, as I recall, is hidden in the Finder, but accessible by pressing and holding the Option key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder.
"com.apple.Keynote.savedState" is the folder, or perhaps file, you want to find and delete- making sure Keynote is not open at that time, which if it can't start without crashing will not be a problem.
This is a "trick" I've used with other applications that got stuck in a loop of trying to restore a pre-crash state, and obviously couldn't start as that state led to the crash. I do not see that savedState file for Keynote on my 10.9 computer, but that is where I would look.

Firefox just automatically updated and deleted all of my bookmarks and quicklinks. I tried installing the previous version I had but that did not fix the problem.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
Start with the section Install missing components which should address your particular error. Otherwise the steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT) as you start iTunes, then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

Do you mean the Bookmarks Menu button on the Navigation Toolbar?

I'm successfully using Kontakt 3 in Logic Pro 8.01 on a Mac G5 and OSX 10.4.11.
Questions:
1) Have you repaired permissions with the disk utility? If not, do so. There is a small chance that this could fix the problem.
2) Can you run Kontakt 3 as a standalone program successfully? If not, uninstall Kontakt 3, and reinstall it and reauthorize it with NI Service Center.
3) Will Kontakt 3 run as a plugin with a different host (like Live or DP)? If yes, I'd suggest uninstalling Logic and reinstalling it.
