Just in case the component being referenced is not part of iTunes but is rather part of one of the other related programs, it might be worth trying a complete uninstall/reinstall of iTunes and related componentry, as per the following troubleshooting document:

Windows cannot find 'C:\Windows\Program Files\\Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0|AdobeARM.exe'. Make sure you types the name correctly, and then try again.
_ I've try to re-install Adobe Reader => same issue
_ I've deleted the AdobeARM.exe and did a repair => same issue.

Thank you for responding. Nothing actually worked! After reading the posts online, I called Apple. They indicated they have seen problems with some software after their upgrades. If you don't already have the "Google Toolbar" why would you want it, it is a problematic extension as are most third party toolbars. I would expect that anything that just about anything that you would use it for can be done with a bookmarklet. As for searching, the builtin Firefox search bar is wonderful you can add or create search engines for it.

I called Apple Support and they walked me through it. They told me to basically copy and paste my music to the external hard drive. (I think.) Or maybe it was they had me transfer a folder to the EHD. I don't exactally remember it was a few years back. But I tried to plug in the EHD before starting and...nothing. Still says same thing, "locate file."
