when I go to purchase history it doesn't show the date and time of purchase

If you log in through iTunes and click Account and then under Purchase History you can see all of your purchases and the dates.

    I have this issue also. Both lists (purchased and not on this ipad) attempt to refresh but seem to timeout and leave the page empty. Can only assume that there's an issue at Apples end.  Quiet annoying though.

    It is not Apple that decides this. Since Apple is just the retailer, they do not own the copyrights to the content they sell on the iTunes store, if the copyright owner decides to remove something from the store that you have purchased Apple must abide by the terms of their licenseing agreements and remove it. Regretablly this also removes the items from your purchase history. This is why it is up to you to download and backup all of your purchases if you wish to maintain your investment.
    In the Apple KB article Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore and iTunes Store, and in many other places, it is clearly stated:
    It is recommended that you always back up your iTunes library in the event that a purchased item is no longer available on the iTunes Store. For more information about backing up your library, see this article.

    I have recently reinstalled itunes on to my laptop. I have tv shows in my library which i downloaded from itunes but when I try and sync them to my ipad it doesn't show them in the sync page. can anyone help ?

    Have you tried closing the iBooks app completely and seeing if it works ok when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e.not with the iBooks app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iBooks app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
    If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
    If neither of the above work then you could also try deleting the app and re-installing it - as long as the books are still in the store and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used then you can re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

    If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.

    Are you connected via wifi? If so, and it is an option, try connecting using a ethernet cable. It sometimes seems to help as it can give a more reliable connection for the 5.3gb download.
    If you do manage to download it you may want to make a copy of the installer file - which gets downloaded to the Applications folder - before running it as it self-deletes on successful installation. It may save you another monster download in the future.

    When I press the app store app on my ipad, one of my previous purchases appears in the middle of the page.  I can't remove it so I can purchase more apps.  What do I need to do?

    Is there an "X" in the top left (or top right) corner of the previous purchase display?  If so, click it.
    If not, try stopping the App Store App by double clicking the home button, find the App Store in the resulting display, and swipe the icon above the App Store icon toward the top of the screen.  Then click the home button to end that display and enter the App Store again.

    That's okay , besides I got nothing to do lol hehehe atleast I can make myself useful for someone else hehe
    1)Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and look for file named hosts inside etc folder.
    2)Copy the hosts file to Desktop and open the same with notepad.
    Check with the hosts file entries , let me know if there are any Adobe entries like 127.0.01 xxx.,adobe.com .activate.adobe.com....etc?
    If there are no Adobe entries in Hosts file .
    If you wish , you may uinstall and reinstall the app .
    You may try below steps :
    Open Control Panel and Navigate to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features .
    Under Program and Features list, locate Adobe Creative Cloud and uninstall it.
    End all Adobe related Tasks from Task Manager.
    Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
    Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
    Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe.
    Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder.
    Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
    Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.
    appdata
    Then navigate to Local>Adobe.
    Open Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.
    Click on the below link and download Creative Cloud setup file and use the same to install the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

    Once the installation process is completed , sign in and check.

    You are looking at the tabs in iTunes on your computer when your phone is connected? That is where you manage what gets transferred and what does not.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

    - Reset all settings      
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

  • One of my apps won't update. A message comes up saying "The item you tried to buy is no longer available", but when I open the app, it works.

    I looked at my iphone 4 and I had two apps that needed to be updated. I pressed "Update All", but only one of them updated. The other, which is the HauteLook app, didn't, and has the little red 1 on my app store application. When I open the app store, it says it needs to be updated. When I press update or update all, the little bar shows up, then a message comes up saying "The item you tried to buy is no longer avaliable". I pressed ok, and it still says it has to be updated. I have opened the app and used it, so it's not broken. I have turned off my phone and turned it back on, and the notification that I need to update it is still there. I have tried restarting my phone, and it's still there. I have also tried plugging my phone into my computer to see if the update shows up iTunes, but it doesn't. I have had my phone for almost 2 years and this has never happened to me before. I did just recently get the IOS 6 update, but since having it, I have had to update apps and never got this message until now. If anyone has any idea how to fix this I would really appericate the help!

    I suggest trying the update again after an hour or two.  Sometimes, the notice that an update is available comes an hour or two before the developers actually sends the revised app out to be downloaded.

    Try turning off & on your iPod (sorry if that sounds dumb, but it might work)
    Or, since that's a matter of not refreshing, turn off your wifi& reconnect
