When I try to open Adobe InDesign, I get this message: Adobe InDesign terminated because of a serious problem/ fault. Start again to restore work in InDesign documents that has not been archived.
What can I do to start the program again, when it does not answer? The only message I get is that there is a serious problem.

I uploaded an rtf (word) document to icloud, but when I try to open in Pages, I get a message that it does not support rtf format. What is going on?

I have a MacBook Pro that is 2 years old and is up to date with updates. All of a sudden when I attempt to open i photo I get a message that says it is either damaged or incomplete and cannot open. Any ideas on how to fix this?
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2. Download it from the App Store to reinstall It's on your Purchases List* there.
For older versions that have been installed from Disk you'll need these additional steps:
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
*Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always. -

What do I need to do when I get this message? "Photoshop can not print this document"
Those pixel dimemsions have aspect ratios that are not the same as a 5 x7 print:
1360 x 1360 = 1.0
790 x 640 = 1.23
2048 x 1366 = 1.5
An 7 x 5 image = 1.4.
So you'll need to crop the images to 5 x 7 before printing. The first two images are a little light in the pixels to produce a high resolution 5 x 7 print.

You can try to force webgl (webgl.force-enabled -> true) to see if that has any effect.

I recently upgraded my hard drive from the original 80gb to a MomentusXT 500gb Hardrive. I reloaded Snow Leopard, and transferred everything back onto my MacBook Pro with an Iomega external hardrive I use for back up. Everything else is working including Safari. But when I downloaded Firefox, it loads, and when clicking on the Firefox icon I get the message "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." Can anyone help me with this issue?
Check that you still have the default profile as listed in the file profiles.ini as Default=1.
If profiles.ini is present, but the profile that is marked in profiles.ini as Default=1 is missing then delete profiles.ini to make Firefox create a new default profile.

My calandar on mac pro isn't online, when I try to take it online it says:

I imporeted my library from an old desktop that lost internet connectivity about a year ago. I haven't been able to update iTunes since then. I put it on an external hard drive and iTunes 11 won't open it. Any suggestions? Thanks.
