Check in the Task Manager (XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC, Processes tab) if there are hanging Firefox processes.
If you see any ''firefox.exe'' processes then click the End button to end those Firefox processes.
You can only start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] or launch the [[Managing profiles|Profile Manager]] is all Firefox processes are ended.

We have gone on our comp after a while and tried to open Firefox . When we do we get a message "Firefox is running close app or restart comp . " Now the thing is I was on it earlier and closed it with the close button . Then say checked mail , or looked at pictures on my comp . I often get an error message when I try to open Firefox 8.0.1 that it's already running...it isn't...and the only way I can open it is to restart my computer. Is there a way to fix that problem or to download an older version that doesn't do that?

Those are the instructions for your computer's iTunes (i.e. using the Store menu at the top of your computer's iTunes and selecting 'View My Account' on it). If you are doing it on your iPad then are you following the instructions for iOS devices :

How can i download something and then open it to use? I can not figure out how to successfully download the new iTunes.

You can directly download 10.5.2 from Apple from here. And if that doesn't work (it didn't when I just tried it -- something wrong with the apple itunes site I assume) download it through macupdate from here.

If you were not there, how would you see the led?
Anyway missed calls will appear on your Lock screen under the Missed tab.
Or a small red numbered badge will appear on the Phone App icon when you have missed calls. You can then access the Recents Tab in the Phone App to see whcih calls were missed.

I cant seem to be able to change the secutity questions on my minor daughters itunes account. I set the account up but I do not remember adding the security questions and they do not make sense to me. It says that the alternate account it would be sent to is@ me.com but I can not figure our how to get to it to retreive the email to reset the questions. My daughters account may have recently been hacked so I am trying to change all passwords. I changed the itunes account and added another email but I still can not change security questions in case I ever need them.

The reset link on an account will only show if there is a rescue email address on it, alternate email addresses are different and not used for resetting them. If she has a rescue email address on her account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down this page will give you a reset link on the account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
If she doesn't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

Does if help if you check the security tab in the properties of the file and remove a possible internet protection?

When I open Firefox a pop-up box appears with no conent and I must close it to continue.

When I first open Firefox a window appears over my home screen with two choices, neither of which does anything when I click on it. I can close the box and continue. Sometimes I can not close a program in Firefox because the same box pops up when I try to close the window.

When I close Firefox then try to open it again, it informs me it is already running and continues to do so regardless of how many times I restart the computer.

Sounds like Firefox is "hanging at exit". That problem is frequently caused by an Extension or a Plugin. Read all of the following articles.

I have windows 8.1 and when I try to access the itunes store it gives me this message.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avialable. This all started after downloading 8.1

I had the same problem. This is the way to fix it. Be sure to reboot after you copy that file into the iTunes folder indicated below:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
