If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll.

Have you opened Photoshop or any other Adobe app that Bridge works with? You need to do this if you've upgraded PS or just signed up for CC.

Just to say I am having exactly the same issue on my MacBook Air. I can't remember what I did but after this happened a few times, and once I had clicked on the Japanese pop up, I managed to do something that now means I get the pop up in English, saying 'Adobe Reader blocked for this website'. When I click on it it asks me to trust the content and then I get a bar with the text in Japanese. Eventually the pdf does open. However it's very irritating that I have to trust every pdf individually which I never had to do before the latest upgrade, and I don't understand why I get messages in Japanese. Here is the solution that I received from the chat line.
When you update applications like Pages it usually keeps both versions on the computer. So what most likely happened is it didn’t put the new version on your dock. So to fix this, open a finder window. And go into applications which should be listed on the left. Scroll down and you will see Pages listed in here. And the icon should look different. You can drag that icon down onto your dock.Open that and you then can access your documents

Uninstall Reader. Use the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Tool. They try re-installing Reader 9.2

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2. Download it from the App Store to reinstall It's on your Purchases List* there.
For older versions that have been installed from Disk you'll need these additional steps:
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
