When i try to open my mail it appears and disappears immediately
Hi Everyone.
I updated my iphone 4 with IOS 4.3.1 and till today everything was working fine but some hours back, i tried to open my mail, but it pop n disappears immediately and am unable to check my inbox.
I can see that there are 3 mails but i dnt even get the time to read it that my mail is closed automatically.
I tried to switch off and on again, i have reinitialize the phone bt it still the same.
Can anyone tell me how to solve it please .
I fixed my mail problem Apple support didn't resolve, nor did my e-mail hosting company. I narrowed down my problem to my GodDaddy email account by deleting the account from my iPhone 4 and the problem stopped. After reading through forums I found a post (from 2005!) that said a corrupt email could cause issues like this and to go into your email account on their web server and delete inbox messages so they don't download to your phone (after you've read of course). Once I did this, my problem was immediately solved and I've had no issues since!

I am trying to lauch an application on my ipod touch. When I try, it opens for about 2 seconds and then immediately closes. I deleted the application, reset and restarted my ipod and then download the application again. Still no success. The application is legit: Crunchtime for Contracts.
Any suggestions?I suppose the app has problems with your soft and hardware. Or maybe its a known bug of that app.
Try Uninstalling->Rebooting->Installing->Rebooting. -

How big is your hard drive, and how full is it?
Did you happen to download any system cache cleaners? Those can damage its ability to function.
Have you tried repairing permissions?
Is your data backed up?
Is Spotlight indexed?
Is the Mail trying to load an IMAP, POP or Exchange account?

With IOS Pages v2.0 and v2.1, Apple introduced a new document format that is incompatible with prior Pages versions on IOS or OS X Pages ’09. Opening older documents with these recent versions of Pages will permanently prevent the document from opening in earlier versions of Pages on IOS or OS X.

There is no undo of an iTunes application update, short of forcing iTunes to restore IOS v6 back on that iPad 2. Even if you did that, you won't find the IOS Pages v1.7.2 in the iTunes store now.
IOS Pages v2+ will allow you to export content in Word .docx format. You do this by first tapping the box with an up-arrow in it (next to the left-most +). A menu will slide up — choose Send a Copy. Select a document icon. Pick Mail, and then Word. Your Pages v2.1 document will now be converted to Word .docx, and attached to an email body. Fill in the to address and send. -
When i try to open week cal it loads and then closes after a few seconds...I have checked for updates, turned the phone off then on, closed out of the app and then opened it again...nothing works! I have thought about deleting the app from my phone and then reloading it again but I worry that it will delete all my calendar info??? Any suggestions?
To reset, press and hold the Home and power buttons until the silver apple appears.
I would delete the app, reset the phone and then download the app again. Your calendar information should be stored on the phone as Week Cal uses the Calendar app information.

To solve this issue all I did was check to ensure that the file permissions were set as described by the earlier posts, followed by simply deleting the iTunes Library Genius.itdb file. Once the file was deleted I was able to open iTunes without difficulty. Note that I am running Windows 8. Hope this helps!

I think I have found an answer on another page! If anyone else wants to know just do this:
Hold down the home and sleep button (if the turn off button comes up just ignore it) and when you see the apple logo release the buttons and let it wake up!
It worked for me and seem to work for a lot of people. Hope this helps!! -
I can not attach any files to email or Facebook. When I go to "browse" the window comes up and disappears immediately. I updated browser and Adobe Flash. Restarted computer and zapped pram. any ideas? Please help!
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only Guest login created by Find My Mac.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in Mac OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The Guest login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2. -
when i try to open my Yahoo mail, a small green box flashes with a message saying my session has expired and to sign in. when i do, the same thing happens and i am unable to get my mail.

If you haven't already tried again and been able to successfully connnect, try again. If necessary, Quit Mail, and re-open it.
Some errors aren't caused by anything we're doing wrong, or problems with our equipment.
Major web service providers like Yahoo! experience 'downtime' now and then, sometimes planned, sometimes unplanned.
During the time you posted your question (about 18 hours before I post this message with the chart) Yahoo was 'down' as indicated by end-user reports, and illustrated by the colorful bands in the chart below.

When I try ot open iTunes on my computer I get an error message stating "The iTunes Library.itl file cannot be found or created" and the program fails to open. How can I fix this issue?

Yahoo. When I try to open my mail I can see the folds but can't open the individual mail.
I see the folder with empty displayed on the right but I can't open the mail.
Do it manually to see if Encore works... export MPEG2-DVD from PPro (if for a DVD, or appropriate assets for HiDef) and then import the 2 (audio and video) files into Encore for authoring

Set Yahoo as you home page, and set firefox to open the homepage when it starts. (Not to open previous pages).
