when I try to play farmville and click the curser it starts a small circle spinning and will not do any thing. I have to shut down to get rid of it. Also when I tried to refresh game toolbar it does nothing.

Did you do a restore from iTune or iCloud backup recently?

Yep. I installed Lion this morning. Open Mail. All is good. Went to video on the Apple's homepage and my whole computer froze up. I couldn't even shut down the computer properly. I just had to shut it off and restart. :|
Although, no "missing plug in" prompts were coming up for me. Just a frozen (brand new) iMac.

I continually have problems with Firefox freezing when I try to play Farmville or on Pinterest. Have tried suggested fixes.

I have an HP laptop; windows 7; core i7; wireless. I have been having problems for several months with Firefox freezing or not responding when I try to play farmville or add pins on Pinterest. I have tried the suggested fixes, without much luck. I un-installed Firefox and re-installed ; went thru the fixes for the plug-in etc. I don't know what else to tell you, but I am not very computer literate.

You didn't say what it is you tried, so we may end up telling you to do the same

I called Apple Support and they walked me through it. They told me to basically copy and paste my music to the external hard drive. (I think.) Or maybe it was they had me transfer a folder to the EHD. I don't exactally remember it was a few years back. But I tried to plug in the EHD before starting and...nothing. What if you take this same topic of an external hard drive with music but instead of directly attached to the computer the music is on a Network Attached hard drive(NAS)? Will I be able to add music to my ipod without any problem? Step that up a notch, will the two computers on my network be able to recognize the music on the NAS? Will the two users be able to create their own playlists and update their ipods independently? Now step up that up one more notch, will I be able to do this with one PC running XP and my macbook with OS X?
Before I run out and buy a NAS I want to be certain. I also would like to convert my DVD library in the future and put it on the network available to an AppleTV or other UpNp media player in the future, because I love having power at my finger tips.

You said you restored the iPod. Was the restore successful, that is, it went though all the steps without errors?
Try a restore to factory settings/new iPod if yuhave not doe so so far.
Are you using the headphones that came with the iPod? Are you inserting the plug fully
Have you tried another set of headphones in the iPod?
The speaker is not that loud.

When in DFU mode and connected to the computer iTunes does not say anything but iTunes will see the iPod and you can restore the iPod via iTunes. When in recovery mode and you connect, iTunes will say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

When I click the "print" button a simplified set of directions should pop up for me to print.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

I am getting a black/yellow sign with NETBLOCKADE on it when I try to open youtube, and of the Facebook games.......what happened and how can I correct this?

I do not know what else to write except my question. The page will open up but where the scene I am suppose to watch on YouTube or the area where the game is suppose to be played....this warning sign in black and yellow strips with netblockade written across it appears and I can not go forward since it is blocked!!!! Go to image>mode and note the color mode (rgb, bitmap, etc) and bit depth of your photo. For the most possible use of PSE it should be RGB 8 bit.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPod?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPod shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"
If these don't work try removing all music via iTunes and reinstall all the music from your iTunes library.

Hi all I'm new here.
My issue goes something like this. When I use the standard music app to play some of my music (MOST from Beatport) on about half of the songs, my iPod will freeze and become unresponsive for up to a half minute. After that, it normally brings me back to the playlist song selection that I was looking at previously. I have an iPod Touch 5th Generation that is running iOS 6.1.2. I have only three playlists, but all of the three have over 500+ unique songs on them. (I normally don't keep duplicates of songs on my iPod) I started to have this problem when I upated my old iPod Touch 4th Generation to iOS 6.0.0. Ever since I got that update, half of my songs have not and will not play.
I have tried numerous times to reset my iPod (4th and 5th) and I even re-installed everything without using a backup.
Any help as to what will fix my problem?

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.
