When I get an e-mail with an adobe document, I open it and try to print it. It will not print on my printer - it just says print to file and trys to download to a file on my computer. Then it locks up.

I am having the same issue, just replied to a different post on the issue. I am running Acrobat X Pro with Win 7 Pro 64-bit. This is a new PC, but my last PC was a 32-bit OS and I didn't have this issue. I was suspecting that it is due to the 64-bit OS.
Reading this post though, I am starting to wonder if there isn't something else going on. When I go to Edit>Preferences, I don't have anything related to email under Categories, or even within any of the categories listed. I am I missing a plug in or something? Yep. I installed Lion this morning. Open Mail. All is good. Went to video on the Apple's homepage and my whole computer froze up. I couldn't even shut down the computer properly. I just had to shut it off and restart. :|

Sounds like you are using Gmail.
Pages 5 uses a zipped package of files as its format. 3rd party servers don't understand the format and show it as the component parts.
Use Mail toenail the file or zip the .pages document before sending.

In any case, you may want to:
- instruct Firefox to handle PDF files in a specific way by going into Tools > Options > Applications and selecting the option you want for the PDF files
- reinstall Adobe Reader and its Firefox plugin
- install another reader instead of Adobe Reader. I recommend Foxit Reader ( http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/ ), since it's free, VERY light, VERY fast, safe and also has a Firefox plugin (make sure you don't have both Adobe Reader plugin and Foxit Reader plugin enabled/installed at the same time in Firefox)

Here is the solution that I received from the chat line.
When you update applications like Pages it usually keeps both versions on the computer. So what most likely happened is it didn’t put the new version on your dock. So to fix this, open a finder window. And go into applications which should be listed on the left. Scroll down and you will see Pages listed in here. And the icon should look different. You can drag that icon down onto your dock.Open that and you then can access your documents

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5/5.01 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.1 sometimes can not open its own files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has not only managed to confuse all its users, but also itself.
Note: Apple has removed over 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Another update: The one month free trial software is no longer working for me as a work-around.
Also: I tried to open up my Adobe applications from two other machines that I have in the house, but it did not work. I received the same subscription renewal popup loop. Here's what happened. I was trying to open a photo in Camera Raw from Adobe bridge and the entire system froze except for my mouse. I did a hard restart. After restarting if I tried to open any Adobe program it brought up the Service License Agreement/ Product Key. I agreed to the terms and service, the entered my key. after that the SLA kept looping back after I agreed. This is still happening. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Suite, but that did not fix the issue.

Thanks Jeff. I performed all the steps and CS 5.5 is still not working. A pop-up comes that says - "Install" can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.
I then moved all the install files to my desktop and another pop up comes up that says - "Install" can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
I installed a trial version of CS 6, and it ran smoothly.
The last resort will be to purchase a Creative Cloud license, but before I do that does anyone else have anymore ideas?

In addition to the above I also recommend Apple's Pages ($19.99). All of these options allow you to open, edit, and save Word-formatted documents and spreadsheets. I use OpenOffice and Pages and have been completely Microsoft - free for over a year now. Life is better without Microsoft.

Hi. I suspect your flash drive is formatted with an NTFS file system (this is the default for Windows drives) and as such is read-only on a Mac. Try re-formatting on the either the Windows or Mac computer with a FAT32 file system. Be aware though that you will lose all data on your flash drive so back up first. Also maximum file size is limited to 2GB, is this a problem?
