When i try to reset my security questions, the reset email never is sent.
ok so, i forgot my security question answers, so i click on "send reset email" and the email is never sent. so i havent been able to buy things off the app store with my itunes money.

I cant buy apps because I forgot my security questions, and whenever I click the button to send the email which would allow me to change my security questions, it tells me it has sent but when I check my email the email hasnt sent. I have just created an apple id to use face time. However whenI try to log in I get the message 'email already verified' and then can't move on.

FYI, iCal is an application that can display calendars from iCloud (and others) it is not a calendar itself, merely a calendar client. In Windows Outlook is the calendar client. -

The reset link will show under the two questions on your account if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account. If you aren't getting the link then you don't have a rescue email address, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions - you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

Why doesn't the 'rescue email' option show up when I try to change my security questions?
I have tried and failed over and over to change the answers to my security questions. Short of calling Support, because I hear they're always pretty busy, how am I supposed to change them? Obviously I can't use my alternate email because iTunes did not offer me that option when I first tried to change them.
Do you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account ? If you do then try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too. -

When I try to text my mum who's in another country, my iPhone automatically deletes the international prefix I have added, as if it recognizes the number from when I lived in the same country and could text her without any problem. I have deleted all her information from contacts, messages, calls and icloud but I still can't text her. Phone calls works and she can text me... Would be very thankful for an answer on this one!

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Why am I not recieveing the email, when i try to reset my security question answers?
Has anyone received an answer to this? It seems that a lot of us are having the same issue. In the past i had no trouble receiving emails to reset my password but for the past week I havne't been able to login, my security questions didn't work and I haven't received any of the emails to reset my password. I've created a new Account but would rather get into my old account because it's linked to my perfered email address. Hum..

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.
