When I try to start a video conference, a message says I failed to respond.
When I try to start a video or audio chat, the other person accepts, but then a message appears saying the chat was unsuccessful because I failed to accept or respond. Is there something else I need to do after initiating the audio or video chat? What's going on?

Depending upon which OS you use, you must meet all Apple's System Requirements for iChat AV 2.1 if you are using Mac OS 10.3.x.
If you are using Mac OS 10.4.x, you must meet the System Requirements for iChat AV 3.
Then consider the suggestions from Using iSight with iChat AV that are relevant to your system.
What's going on?You will need to determine the answer to that question based on your answers to the questions and suggestions here. If you still have difficulty, see if iChat > Help gives you the needed assistance. If not, and if the suggestions above do not get you going, seek help from a Mac user you know or from your local Apple retailer.

When i try to start itunes i get a message saying that the MSVCR80.dll file is missing and to reinstall itunes. When I try to reinstall itunes it tells me that I have an Error 7 (windows error 126). Can anybody tell me what this means? Thanks
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Following an upgrade of my OS from XP to Vista, I tried to point the new installation at my old profile. Now when I try to start FF, I get a message saying that it is already running and I should reboot to clear the problem. I've done that but the problem remains. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled v4 beta. The problem remains. Any ideas?
OK, I had moved the profile file inside the profile folder which was created when I installed FF, to the main FF folder. I then took the equivalent file which existed under XP before my upgrade to vista, and moved it into the new Profile folder. That's when I hit the problem described in the initial question.
So, what I did following Tony's response was to move the bookmarks password and cookies files into the profile created on the install. I then moved that file into the profile folder and moved the one I'd saved from XP, out to the main FF folder.
Started FF and voila! All working fine. Thanks for your help. -
I get an error when i try to start a video conference...

If your Buddy saw this and accepted then this port is open.
The process then moves to port 5060 and ichat contacts an SIP server called SNATMAP
This bit is the bit missing in your log.
Either of these things is happening
1) the port is not open in your Mac Firewall or the modem and any router you have.
2) you have a piece of VoIP (phones over Internet) equipment in the wrong place for ichat in your home network.
3) Your ISP offers a VoIP service and is blocking the SIP ports to get extra money
4) You have a modem that is SIP aware. Thomson Alcatels are most likely but also some Drayteks and the UK BT Home Hub

I have recently started downloading video files. I
have downloaded a season of a tv show. The season had
9 episodes. Three downloaded fine and the other 6
will not. When i try to download them i get a message
saying error
-34 The disk you are attempting to use is full.
Remove files and empty recycle bin to create space. I
dont understand why it keeps doing this. I have lots
of space on itunes and my computer is not full
either.What can i do? How can i prevent this? Is

ITunes hangs everytime when I try to start a video since I updated it to version 10.7.

everytime when I try to start a video at iTunes the programm hangs and I have to close it via task manager. Quicktime works and I also tryed to reinstall it but I have the same problem. I aslo tryed to install the older version but I had the same problem there.
It worked well before I updated it to the version 10.7. What can I do? What went wrong?

When I try to start Firefox, I get a message that it is already running, but not responding and that I should close it before trying to run another Firefox. But I cannot find a way to close Firefox program that is not running as far as I can see. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but that did not work. I've tried various other things, but no luck. I thought programs should stop when the computer is turned off, but that didn't work either.
How are you opening the Profile Manager?

It sounds like you are unable to reinstall iTunes because of this error message 7. I recommend the troublehsooting found in the following article that mentions that error named:

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

When I try to open itunes i get a message saying: File "iTunes library.itl" cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes. And itunes will not start up. Any help out there?

When I try to uninstall iTunes I get a message saying iTunes 64 msi can not be located and I should enter an alternate path. How would I know where it it is? I get the same message when trying to install the update to iTunes 10.6.1.
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
I have an imac running 10.4.11 and i downloaded the update software from apple downloads and when i try to update to 10.5.1 it says open failed this version requires 10.5 what should i do?
You would have to purchase a retail Leopard installer DVD. Since they are difficult to find you may need to search on eBay, Amazon.com, and Google to find a suitable copy.

I used to be able to email photos from my Lightroom software 5.7 for MAC quite successfully. I needed to change my password several days ago in my gmail account. Now when I try to email photos I receive a message saying "Failed to establish connection with the outgoing email server. Please make sure you have entered the email account and password correctly."
I have been trying to get help from Adobe for 3 days. I have sent a message through "Get Support", 2 days ago, but no one has contacted me. I have tried by phone, but no one will help me. When I purchased Lightroom in May, 2014, I was able to receive phone help. I am now told that I don't qualify because I am not a Creative Cloud customer. I have been assigned a case number 186291729.
