When I check my iCloud backup it says it has never backed up and when I try to back manually it gives a message of " estimating back up time" and doesn't back up even after having left it for many hours?
Yes I have tried that last weekend ad this weekend. I have tried wi fi at different times of the day too; in case it is speed issue. I have tried selecting only backing up limited content and not every thing per what other users suggest.
It's maybe either the router is lousy or there is something wrong with my software or hardware.

Safari always opens at the web page last viewed. There is no home page for mobile Safari. To open a web page, tap the address field (on the left side of the title bar), then type the web address and tap Go. Or you can use the search field (at the right side of the title bar) to iniate a search.

I just got my Mac Pro repaired from Apple but I am experiencing the same issue: Screen freezes and shows funny rectangular bars. I shut it down manually and when I try to turn it back on it beeps 3 times. I know its the RAM but is there a way I can fix it
If you just got it back and it isn't fixed or something else is wrong with it take it back and have them do the repair correctly.

When I try to migrate from imac to macbook pro my user account says "this user needs attention before migrating". My e-mail does not migrate in the process. This never happened before I updated to Maverick. I have repaired user permissions but this not make any difference
Just a Follow-up - the migration went fine. The migration did not import Little Snitch, Flip4Mac and DivX, stating they were incompatible. It also reported that Intego Back up Assistant has improper security setting (which I have not yet investigated).
I am encountering small problems. Safari would not open embedded pdf documents and instead showed a black screen. This was fixed with instructions found at http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/display-pdf-browser-acrobat-xi.html and it now works fine.
Importing 17 years of old mail from Eudora to Apple Mail was time consuming. mostly because of the pre-migration preening i did, but using Eudora file cleaner before the migrtaion helped a lot.
I amy find some more glitches, but so far everything seems to be working. -
My MacBook wouldn't go to sleep, it keeps loading, so I have to turn it off. When I turn it on a blank screen comes on, I shut the lid and open it and the main menu screen comes up but the cursor won't work for awhile. Then, eventually, the cursor will work and everything is fine. Hmmm?

Why do I get the message net sign in failed when I try to send email from my phone? This just started about a week ago and I am unable to send email.

Let's get those emails sending! When you get the message, does the device prompt you to sign in to your email? If so, does it give you a different error message? The same? What type of email is it? Are you able to send/receive if using the PC? One option is to uninstall, then reinstall the email account from your device. Please give that a try and keep me posted on the results.

When I try to tune up my PC with the Hp Support Assistant or download my zoo tycoon game, a blue screen appears telling A problem has occured and windows shut itself down to protect data and to disable or remove any new software, and to disable BIOS memory options such as caching or if I need to use safe mode to to remove or disable and components on my computer, then it immediately shuts down? How can I fix this?
What model computer and what Windows version? Blue screens like that can be a lot of things; bad memory, bad hard drive, a virus, a bad driver. The first thing to do is run a full hard drive test in the BIOS and see if there is any physical problem with the hard drive. Then I would do a chkdsk to see if there is a problem with the file structure then lastly an sfc /scannow to see if there are problems with Windows system files. Lastly, I would run a memtest to see if there are memory problems. Post back if you need specific help with any of these things or all of them.

The iPhone does not have user serviceable parts. There is no where to buy genuine Apple parts, and once you open the phone, you forfeit any warranty or post-warranty support, as well as help from the forum. Try Google.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I have downloaded 449 songs and i can not seem to get them all on my i pod it will only download 150 and the rest all have exclamation marks against them, could this be from my old i pod and how can i get to themThe exclamation mark means the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. This can happen if you or some other software moves, renames or deletes the files. Select an affected file and press CTRL-I to Get Info. Look at the summary tab and the entry near the bottom that says Where: This will start file://... and gives the last known/expected location of the file. The last part of that path will be of the form <filename>.<ext> where the <filename> is typically <track no.> <track name>. Search your computer for the specific filename to see if you can find where the file has been moved to. Ideally just move it back to where iTunes wants it to be. With luck you'll find that a bunch of folders has just been moved to the wrong place and you can move them back as a job lot.
