When yu try to update an app, look at the Apple/iTunes ID email address above th location where you enter the password. It sounds like the you have apps on your iPod that were purchased with more than one iTunes account. Yu hav to besigned inot the account that pruchased them to update them. If more than one app needs updating and they eere purchased from different accounts yu can't use the Update All. You have to update them individually until the remain apps were purchased from one account.

It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? Deauthorizing won't delete anything, and all your purchased content is safe. You will just have to reauthorize any of the other computers that get deauthorized along with your computers old machine id.
To get your purchased content back on that computer, just use iTunes to redownload it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US). Of course, music you ripped from CD or got from another source you'll need to copy those files back over.

If you get an error message that you do not have sufficient permissions or have other problems with updating to update then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

Try closing the Facebook app completely and see if it works ok when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Facebook app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Facebook app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Thay's correct. Buying iCloud storage does not increase the local storage capacity of your iPad.
Your iPad will always have the 16, 32 or 64GB of storage you bought it with.
iCloud storage is space on Apple's iCloud servers - not on your device.
You'll need to clear some space on your iPad to make room for apps.

It sounds like you may have a3G model as opposed to a 3GS. Check the model number on the back. A1241 is a 3G unit.
