When I try to validate my email account Blackberry does not recognise my password
My email has been working fine on my Curve. Blackberry stopped the emails a few days ago and asked me to validate (re validate I guess) my account. I've followed instructions without luck. Then re-set my password. But no luck - BB still says its invalid. So no emails and a good hour of my life on searching for BB support...

Everytime I open iTunes to play music, NOT to access the iTunes Store, I get the password sign in box for the iTunes Store. If I click cansel the box pops up a second time.

New Email password not recognised.
One of my accounts is a btinternet address, and I've now got that setup with their new settings (so not the old yahoo settings), so my outgoing server is now listed as mail.btinternet.com and with that the settings are not greyed out.

I want to change my iCloud account. Buying iPad we gave a virtual (forwarding) email address.
We need to change to a real address.
But when we try to change the iCloud account, we can only change the password.
Note: we don't have a Mac, only an iPad and Windows.Welcome to the Apple Community.
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too. -

BEfore you try to Restore it, try a simple Reset.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off option that shows up first). -
Pop up menu shows my Apple ID in my iphone as my old email Apple ID. This happens when I try to go into iCloud . It does not show my new apple ID.

You will need to delete the iCloud account with your old ID, but before you can do that, you will have to go back into Manage Your Apple ID, and change your Apple ID back to the old address. Don't worry about verifying it, you just need to change it.
Then, go into Settings>iCloud and turn off Find My iPhone (it will ask you for a password - put in your current one to turn it off). Then, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and Delete the iCloud account using your current password.
Also go into Settings>iTunes & App Store, clidk on your old ID and sign out of iTunes.
Then go back to Manage Your Apple ID and put your new Apple ID back in.
Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign on with your new Apple/iCloud/iTunes ID.
Go back into Settings>iTunes & App Store and sign on with your new Apple/iCloud/iTunes ID.

I updated to ios5 on another computer because i was stuck on the recovery mode loop but now the problem is that when i try sync to my current one iphone does not show up or sync at all.. any ideas? gonna try uninstall right now..
There is no way to consolidate iTunes accounts.
Setting up an iPhone has never required creation of a new Apple ID.
You've apparently purchased content with both Apple ID's. Sign into the device with the correct Apple ID and sync the content. -

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -
Computer 1 setup with code.
When I follow instructions on computer 2 and select I already have account it give me set of codes to enter on first computer at :add device screen. Does not give me option option to add email address and password but tells me to enter a code they supple to add a device screen on first computer. When i go there it doesn't give me this optionHi!

PamelaAdditonally, at this point I really want to talk to someone who cares about how a customer like I might feel in such a situation and when I call corporate would like to talk to someone who is interested in hearing my input as it really sucks to think I really don't feel like going to the store anymore and would rather just buy stuff on amazon or newegg these days instead;/ When I know how much i used to enjoy going into the store and getting friendly with kind staff who worked with me to get the best deal on the items I got--perhaps this was because it was at a more desperate time when Best Buys fate as a company was more precarious prior to price matching taking origin. Also, on an aside, would like to add that obviously there is always the one or two people who go out of their way to make sure you have an excellent expeirenece so I am not trying to make any sweeping generalizations here. In fact, I find the forum contributors to be among the most kind and helpful, but that might be because they don't have to deal with the now seemingly dreaded "pricematch" epidemic;D

I received an error that my password to my email account was wrong on my iCloud account. I tried to reset the password, but it will only let me reset my Apple ID password. My iCloud account asks to reset my password by email, but I never receive an email and it says my security answers are wrong (birthday and questions).
Contact the Apple account security team: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support. If you can prove your identity, they will help you change your password.

When I try to purchase from itunes, it does not give me the option to buy. I am logged into my acoount and have a balance to purchase songs/music with. Has anyone else had this problem?
Is the item compatible with your model iPod and iOS version? If not you will not get a Buy option.

the apple id password that is used for itunes, the app store and icloud email is different and can be reset at iforgot.apple.com -
I have lately changed my ID name. When i tried to download purchases and synchronise my ipad2, itunes asks to lalso login onto the old id. My problem is that i cannot redefine the password of my old id. Itunes requeste and confirms that an e mail will be sent. This e mail never arrives. Why this and what is the fix?
If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
