Sounds like you got a store demo. Look in your settings and see if you see "Demo Mode/Demonstration Mode" or something similar.

I updated the IPAD with the latest update and now when I turned the IPAD on, I get the itunes logo and then nothing else. How can I fix this to let me use my IPAD?
YOU ARE IN RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary. -
Why are the apps on my IPad scattered across the whole thing and when I open them they turn to little rectangles in the corner of the screen and I can't even use them or tap on anything. Also when I turn my iPad it doesn't flip the screen over.
Hi The next thing to do is to Restore back to Factory Settings this will get rid of any bugs . After Restore use same Apple ID /Password then you should get all your Apps & data back If you still have this problem make an Appointment at Apple Store . Cheers Brian

On the top (near the battery indicator) do you see a little circle with a padlock in the middle? If so, there's a slide switch by the volume toggles. flip that switch and see if it restores the accelerometer

When I turned my ipad on this morning it is glowing on all sites as if in night view with a flourscent a. dded. I can't find out how to remove it!
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

I noticed a Strange light after the end of my ipad2 screen it is located far down to the right, it makes me feel that maybe the scree is not replaced tight so the light is coming , I can see that light when I turn my iPad to a 45 degree angle , any help? I am a little confused, you are posting in an iMac forum however your profile only indicates you have a MacPro. While I agree a SMC reset may help please carefully read the link The hatter provided because different Mac's have a different processes for resetting the SMC.
In the mean time you may want to update your profile (Your Stuff in upper right and click Profile) and also please post in the correct forum to avoid confusion. -

Is there a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If so, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (rotation lock or mute notifications), then you can lock/unlock the rotation by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. If you have the newer ipad just swipe up on the home screen and the shrotcuts will come up and there will be a symbol for screen rotation lock (make sure its off)
If there isn't a lock symbol then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

As you may be aware, if you ever encounter problems with your iOS device you can restore it to it's original settings - that has worked for me a few times.
I would recommend that you try to restore you iPad, as this is highly likely to solve the issue that you are having. However, in the case that a system restore does not work, take your iPad, backed-up to your computer into your nearest Apple store and see what they can do.

If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.

Having arranged some scanned pictures in an album in I-Photo how can I keep them in the order I have chosen when I move the album. They all have the scan date and not the taken date and move to new positions if I move them from one album to another.
Is there any way to re-number them in the order I have chosen so that they can then be sorted by number? The scans are all from pre-digital images that I wish to move to a photobook and I don't want to have to organise them twice!

Now I am back on my Mac. I meant the following: Batch Change the date for a large range of photos, that should have a date stepped in increments.
Select all Photos at once and use the command "Photos > Batch Change".
Then set the date for the first photo and select an increment, e.g. one minute.
Now all photos will get a new date assigned, incremented by one minute, in the sequence you have selected. So you will be able to sort them by date. This way it will be unnecessary to change the titles or filenames. -
When I turn on my Ipad2 it won't scroll in any direction and there is a voice explaining everything you do. How do get it to scroll again and turn off the voice. I have tried to reset it both ways and when I go to settings > general I don't see a reset button.
