When I turn on my IMac it can not find the my wireless network automatically, I have select it manually, even with apple support problem still exist.
When I turn on my Imac it can not find my wireless network automacally, I have to seclect it manually. Apple support has not been apple to find the problem. I also have an MacBook Pro and have no problem with this laptop finding my network everytime. Does anyone else have this problem. This problem started within the last month.

System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.

Am trying to install Apple TV 2nd generation.
I use a hidden wi fi network.
I enter the name of the network when prompted, but Apple TV says it can not find the network.
All other devices in my home have found the network.
What could be the problem?Just disable the hidden network feature so that the Apple TV can see the SSID .Once connected you can reset it .By the way a Hidden Network isn't a security feature .

Can't find the iBahn wireless network here at the Anaheim Marriott.
I'm using the iBahn wireless network offered by the Marriott for my laptop, but my iPad2 will not even pick up the signal. It is a pay connection, will this cause the ipad to not even recognize the signal? How do I get that changed so that I can actually use the ipad?
How did you have to sign up for the network on your laptop? It could be a hidden network thus not broadcasting its SSID and you will not see it. To connect to a hidden network you use the join other option and the the SSID, security type and password.

I have cox as my internet provider and the last couple weeks i have been having a ton of connection problems. The status light on my airport express is green but my computer is saying the connection is timing out and my phone is having issues connecting to the internet even though it says it is still connected to my wireless network. is it my airport express or something else?
Manually mount the TC in the computer..
In finder use Go/Connect to server.
Type in the name of the TC or its IP address.. I recommend you use all names of SMB standard.. short no spaces and pure alphanumeric. That will give you much less trouble.
So AFP://TCname.local (where you use the TCname replaced with the actual network name of the TC. local is the domain by default.
You can use alternative AFP://TCIPaddress like AFP://10.0.1.1 (default IP of TC as router). This is only useful when the TC has a static IP.
Make sure ipv6 is set to link-local in all the network adapters in the computer and the TC.
Then go to TM preferences and you should see the TC listed as a possible target for TM.

computer software to look for any problems - I turned the power off and on again, fired irefox back up and still get the large display?I don't have ML so I can't comment on the back button but the problem with screen size may be a matter of you scrolling while pressing the CMD or CTRL buttons. You should be able to adjust which of these to use through Systems Pref > Mouse and then Zoom control in the bottom box.

If the SIM is out of your phone, find my phone needs a data connection, so could use wifi - IF in range of a wifi and one that it can join (ie. a known network or one that is wholly open so no login required). Your phone could also simple be turned off, so not findable, or it may have been restored (plugged into iTunes and restored as new) again, making it permanently unfindable. Honestly, for someone stealing an iPhone, this is likely the first thing they do - restore as new and it is theirs forever.
Find my iPhone is tied to the users iCloud account - the find function is part of the iCloud account's services and it communicates with the iCloud servers over a data connection - either wifi or 3G.
Have you set up your iCloud account on your replacement phone, and is it working properly on that phone? -
I have transferred a load of files from my PC to my iMac using the migration assistant. The message on both machines say that the process was successful but I can not find the files on the mac. Any ideas?
When you use Migration Assitant it creates another user account and puts your files there. Please log out of your normal account and log into the new account. Had you use Setup Assistant when it asked if you were migrating that would not have occured. You have a couple of options, combine the two accounts (not recommended) or start over, use Setup Assistant and have everything in one user account. For some reason or other I can't remember my password for my apple id and when I go to reset it I can't find the email they have sent me.I think they are sending it to my apple email [email protected] which I can't access as they are telling me my password is wrong and send me an email message to this email address which I cannot remember the password for. I am in a vicious circle.Support have emailed me and stated they can't change it?!
Sign in at http://icloud.com with the new ID and password and confirm that your data is still all there.
Then sign out in System Preferences>iCloud then sign back in with the new ID and password. Your data will disappear from your Mac when you sign out, but will reappear when you sign back in. -

With Macintosh Computers there is no Finder or Desktop icon for iPhone. Just unplug the iPhone. In iTunes application this is different and you can so-called eject it if you want.
