When I turn on my Ipod touch it wont do anything but show me a itunes logo and usb plug in pic.
When I turn on my ipod it just shows me a picture of itunes logo and a usb plugin. I plug it in to the computer and nothing happens. Ive tried to reset it and it still wont do anything. I don't know what to do. Please help
The screen is telling you to connect the iPod to your computer with iTunes with the USB connector. iTunes should open and give you instructions as to what to do. Whatyou need to need to do is to restore the iPod via iTunes.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem. Seems like a bad digitizer or connection or logic board.

on my itunes library my albums are all sorted but when i put onto my ipod touch (4th Gen) it seems to duplicate i have checked everything and there are no spaces in the information my question is how do isort it because these things drive me mad i would be most gratefully if you could find a way to help
thatnksNever mind, got it to work. I stumbled around on Google for a while and somehow ended up reading things from the 'jailbroken' community. They had easy instructions to get out of Recovery mode. Thanks anyway though!
P.S. For anyone who experiences this, here is the fix: Hold Power and Home in unison for 6 seconds, then power on as normal. -
I dropped my ipod touch 3 generation into some water. I let it dry off completely befor turning it back on. Now it shows me the itunes logo and the usb cord picture. I restored my ipod, and now it won't connect to itunes or my computer. What should I do?

As it should have been transferred to your computer when you synced, you can contact itunes support and ask for an exception.

The logo is saying connect it to your computer with iTunes installed on the computer. I assume when yo do this that the iPod is not seen in iTunes. to make iTunes appear try:

When I turn on my iTouch, I only get a black screen with an iTunes logo and a picture of a USB plug. The device freezes at this point. When I connect to iTunes, the only option is to Restore.......before I do that is there anything else I can try???? Help?

I can't get my 4th gen ipod touch to turn on but itunes see's it and is in recovery mode. I can hear the beep beep when I plug it in to the usb port.
