I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.

I know you can't help with my Yahoo problem, however, apparently at some time in the past I have went to the Sync and tried to figure it out on both my laptop and my desktop, because I have the long snyc key information. However, when I go to try to sync both computers I never get the box to enter that key on either one. That is my problem. So should I try and get a new sync key and see if that works.

You are on pc or mac? I think pc. Below is a link that gives the steps, and it suggests you need to down load a controller, and then it tells you how to set it up. See if this helps any.

I have been using icloud to upload pictures from my iphone to my laptop with Windows Vista for several months. Now on startup I get this message : ApplePhotoStream.exe has stopped working

I saw that uninstalling and then reinstalling the iCloud control panel on your computer corrects it. I did this and it worked for a while but I'm getting it again. Any ideas?? Thanks!

When I try to open iTunes,it tries to start but than I get a message stating-iTunes has stopped working , close the program. Does anyone have a problem like this? I'm using windows 7 compatibility turned off.

I'm using a Dell PC with windows 7. Apple Store cannot open completely. An error message states- iTunes has stopped working, close the program.
I have spoken to at least 3 Techs with no solutions found for this problem. Compatibility mode turned off. Newest Download from Apple site.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.

I found the file but when I added it to the list for the Data Execution Program to ignore , I received a message that the Program.x86/itunes file must have the DEP on in order to run. Anyone else having this problem ?
