It also happens to be the only at boot kernel extension file you have.
Open your System/Library/Extensions folder and remove any "hamachi" named file (nothing else) and reboot.
Next time, use the developers uninstaller, it catches these type of system level installed files.
If you have a problem contact the developers site for further manual and or uninstall instructions.
Also run through this User Tip list of repairs to tune up your Mac.

Safe Boot disables several things, and you can look at the list and see if you can find the culprit. As Linc says, if you still have a problem, post a new topic so that it will get the attention it deserves. -

You could try this; Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode.It takes awhile to come up so patience is a virtue here.
And here is What is Safe Mode.

When I turn on my Macbook pro retina display, a black screen show up while I hear the normal start up sound. I noticed that the machine gets very hot, any clue how to make it work?
If the Mac is too hot to touch, take it in for service.

when i turn on my macbook pro why does a bunch of things pop up
It's the Resume feature of Lion:
Managing Mac OS X Lion's application resume feature.
If you shutdown your computer you should get a dialog asking if you want applications to resume on the next startup. Simply uncheck the box to prevent that from occurring. Open General preferences and uncheck the option to Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps. You can also install a third-party utility to control resume features on individual applications: RestoreMeNot or Application State Cleaner. -

When I turn on my MacBook Pro and when I am at the login screen, the background is white rather than steel gray. What is wrong and how can I fix it?
It turns out that iCloud caused this issue. When I turned iCloud off my login screen was completely normal.

The screen resolution in 1920x1200 dropped on my MacBook Pro 17". Seems like I have not the same pixels. There are also vertical, thin lines on the screen. Makes the screen look milky. Anybody knows what's going on and how to fix it?
Take it to an Apple Store or other service provider for testing.

Ok earlier today I was at work on break and I usually use this time to check emails,iChat messages ,etc. when I tried to turn my MacBook Pro I hear the sound as if it' is gonna turn on....but my screen is still black mind you the battery is fully charged.....why is that and what can I do to fix this problem......I LOVE MY MACBOOK PRO and I'm upset because of the issue. Can someone please help me ? I'm suffering from MacBook Pro withdrawal :(
If you've activated FileVault, only the users that were authorized to unlock the startup volume will appear in the pre-startup authentication dialog. Once the system has started up, all users will appear in the login dialog.
To authorize more users after the volume has been encrypted, select the FileVault tab in the Security & Privacy preference pane. Click the lock icon in the lower left corner and authenticate to unlock the settings, if necessary. Click Enable Users...
You should only enable users whom you trust implicitly with all data on the system, not just their own data. -
How can I shut off the automatic login when I turn on my MacBook Pro?
Ever since I updated to Yosemite I have been forced to enter my password whenever I turn on my MacBook Pro. I went to System Preferences/Users & Groups and see that the automatic login option is set to off, but it is shaded and I can't use the dropdown menu, even though I've unlocked it.
Is this a common issue? Am I just going to have to get used to signing in every time? I'm the only one who uses it, and it's a little annoying.
I've tried searching for help in the discussions and also on google, but I'm not finding any answers.
Help, please!Did you turn on FileVault when you upgraded to Yosemite? If it is on then a login password is required (sort of obviously). You can tell whether it is on by going to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Security & Privacy and click FileVault at the top and see if the words "Turn off FileVault" are in the button. I'm the only one who uses my Mac also, but the remote possibility of it being stolen makes it worth it to me to have FileVault turned on and a password required.
