When I type in a search bar from any site a drop box appears suggesting advertizing sites, how do I get rid of this!
It's not the usual drop down that lists the most recently searched for items.
It's like an ad that appears on top of that list. It's really annoying. I just updated Firefox and it started.
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

recently Firefox installed a search bar in line with my tabs. I don't want it and can't find how to get rid of it.It seems to part of the add-ons. I was able to remove it by going to the add-ons in the Firefox menu, and taking to following steps:
Add-ons menu, Extensions, Default tab, Click "remove"
(I tried just disabling it, but it didn't seem to work, so I removed it.)
It should then ask if it's ok to restart and when it opens up again, the search box should be gone. Hope this helps, it worked for me. -
When I change pages I get a box 'java script uninstal set' how do I get rid of this?
every time I change pages I get several error boxes saying java script application, uninstal set (misspelled) . I cannot continue til I close all the boxes. It also has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?

Ever since the last update, I'm having problem accessing my e-mail account. I keep getting an annoying bar at the top of the screen "Firebox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page." I have to keep hitting the allow button, sometimes twice. And when I do get into the accounts the bar jumps in and out every time I open a new e-mail, or delete and old one.
How do I get rid of this. I've had this account for years, with a very reputable private e-mail provider. This is nuts.See:

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

I just bought a new iPad air and have not been able to download kindle app to read my books. When I type kindle on my iPad app page, kindle app does not appear. What do I do to get this app into my iPad air?

Do you already have the Kindle app downloaded to an iPhone or another iPad? Do you have "Automatic Downloads" turned on under Settings>iTunes & App Store for Apps on your iPad?
You might want to try touching and holding the Kindle App option in your Purchased list, and when it highlights, let go, and it will go to a a detail page for the app with another "Open" option on it. See if it will open from there.
If you do have Automatic Downloads turned on on the iPad, turn it off, and then go back to purchased to see if the Kindle is still showing as "Open".

the cursor includes a text box from a previous image or link when the cursor is positioned on the side of the page. it will mainly happen when i hit "back" from the page i was on. i click and it goes away but only to return again on the next launched page. i also keep several tabs open and it will carry over to any one of them i go to. how do i get rid of this?

The message icon on my iphone indicates that there is an unopened text message, but when i go into it, it just opens up a blank message, and there is no option to delete it. Any suggestions how i can get rid of this message, and prevent my phone from always opening up in the blank message whenever i go into my messages, rather than just opening as my inbox?
Many thanksHard restart.. While the phone is powered in, hold the power and home button. Hold them down and keep them held down. the phone will eventually shut itself off and reopen. keep held down till you see the appl elogo, then release. This will not delete anything off your phone, it will just force all apps to stop their current process. If you just turn the phone on and off, it will just pick up where it left off. Good luck

When you tap and hold on image in safari, there will be context menu. Usually there two options at least:
* Save image
* Copy
If you'll tap Copy - it will be copied to buffer and you can paste it at your new email (for ex.)
If you'll tap Save image - it will be saved in Photos app on your iPad (in my case it saves at Camera roll album) -
