When I type on my new HP laptop It erases the words mid sentence or jumps back a few words.

When I type on my new HP laptop It erases the words mid sentence or jumps back a few words. I don't want to take it back I like it besides that problem. What can I do to fix it?

Which software are you using ? Which key do you use to erase works ? And what is the operating system of your machine ?  Please supply more information.
