When I uninstalled Firefox Nightly, why did it remove all of my bookmarks and plugins for Firefox itself? I didn't tell it to remove such features.

That is frustrating. I assume that is what happen, but I wish it would have warned me that they pulled from the same file location. I still use Firefox and would loved to have kept those files. Oh well. Thanks the-edmeister.

Firefox 4 just decided to install automatically last night. My histories, bookmarks are gone. My google user name was changed! with a spelling error. In addition, this is not user friendly when needing help.

I am not too sure exactly what happened to you. AFAIK Firefox will only update from the last version firefox 3.6 to the new release version 4.0 if the users authorises that upgrade.
When current versions of firefox upgrade they try (and usually succeed) to retain any existing Bookmarks and history etc. I know it is rather late to mention this, but it is always a good idea to make your own manual backup of the bookmarks and keep them in some safe location on your computer. (Rather than in the profile folder where firefox puts most user information). See

Hopefully firefox will not have lost all yout bookmarks etc. When you try to recover them you will overwrite whatever is there at present so it is most important that you first of all backup whatever bookmarks you currently have, as explained in the linked article above. Then to try to look for and restore whatever firefox does have look at:

Another tip <br/>
If you do ever uninstall firefox, you may se an option to delete user data, however that may be worded, do NOT use it. Be aware the option deletes all user profile data, so all passwords bookmarks etc, from ALL installed versions of firefox.

I downloaded a toolbar expecting certain help, not seeing the help I wanted I uninstalled the prouduct, why would I still have the toolbar ready and waiting for me to use after i have uninstalled it

I have just sent mail to a friend and found that the HTML backgrooung file is inactive amongst mant others, am sure I used it just yesterday.
I tried to regain this file and I was directed to download the toolbar from BrotherSoft Extreme Community and did not see any direction to what I was loking for other than it piling my already weak XP PC with more toolbars, so I immeadiatly uninstalled it.
It's still here, so does this mean it has other guises for me to find.
Please help me with this.

It's rude, obviously I know now not to do something like download something like that to my computer. It's not the difficult to figure out, and obviously I'm suffering the consequences for it now. IPod Album Art Cache - Why did they remove the feature to Sync Album Art?

So it appears that Apple removed the ability to enable/disable album art in the iPod configuration in recent versions of iTunes so that one can't turn it off and sync then turn it on and re-sync to reset all the album art once it gets jumbled on the iPod Classic. It seems that this was a useful feature to have. This has recently happed to me for the first time, so now I'm having to re-sync my complete music library of over 80gig and it's going to take all night (and finger's crossed that iTunes doesn't crash - which is why my artwork got jumbled in the first place). Did the old method of resync'ing just the Album Art Cache just cause a re-sync of the entire music catalog anyways? What's the deal?

The problem is that the Add-ons Manager tab when opened the first time, is on "Get Add-ons" section and that must be downloaded from the Add-ons server which might be overburdened.

When loading Elements 10 why did it remove my Nic Software add-ons in Lightroom 3?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Nic programmes but no success. And it is all now so slow that i am thinking of reinstalling everything. With Windows 7, 8 gb of memory and and i5 Intel processor, my computer should be able to handle this. Elements 7 was already there and working well, so I must have done something wrong. Any suggestions?

Hi, After installing NIK plug-ins, Please check on C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\External Editor Presets folder.Here you can see some Nik- plugins templates , open any template in Notepad and see "ExternalEditorFullPath" verify this path is right and whether .exe file is present at this location or not.Also verify the status of this path and .exe location after using the PSE.I am confident, this is the issue of file path mismatch. What address book or cloud service were you syncing your contacts with before the update? They should still be there.
Contact information is only part of the backup in order to maintain your favorites and recent calls list. Contacts are meant to be synced to a cloud service or address book.

Click on the Apps Tab in iTunes. Select each app (click on the boxes next to the names), then click on the Apply button in the lower right corner of iTunes. Make sure that the Sync Apps heading is checked as well.
If the apps are not in your iTunes library - if you had never transferred the purchases - you will have to download them again via the purchased tab in the App Store on your iPad. Make sure that you use the same ID to redownload the apps that you used to buy them with.

Where can I find the plugins folder when I have opened PSE13? I miss it in this version! If so why did Adobe removed it? Then this version has no use to me.

I just purchased PSE13 and after installing I noticed that I can't find my plugins while I could easily open it in my PSE11. Why did Adobe removed it??? If so I think I will install PSE11 again.

I have Windows 7 Professional X86 and I also noticed that PSE13 was installed in my 'normal' program files folder instead of the X86 program files folder. PSE11 used the X86 programfiles folder. I dunno why though!

Why did you remove The option to disable Java scripts?

Everyone knows malware always comes through java scripts. So why did you remove the option to turn it off ? Why the false saftey excuse? (duckspeak) This makes no sense. Alot of people also get errors and have slower speed with some pages so they disable it. I understand there is plugins available to block scripts but they never work 100%. It just really really seems strange that a browser that was built on the idea of safety, security and trust has now suddenly removed a item that makes users less safe, Under the guise of safety. (doublespeak)
I will no longer use Firefox ever again unless you put this option back.

Adobe is always reviewing Dreamweaver to identify underpowered or little used features which are no longer relevant, or better alternatives exist, in today's market.
Occasionally their research and conclusions seem to be off course with the majority of users. Radical action, such as dropping the feature, may taken too early.
They made a call by dropping the in-built DW validator in CS5 but, apparently, it's still wanted. I never use it personally but plenty still do apparently. It may yet find itself living on borrowed time though.
The antiquated Timelines feature in earlier versions was another example of a feature which was pulled prematurely (back in MM days) and quickly reinstated via a patch following a concerted user campaign. It was eventually dropped in later versions when the time was right.

It sounds like you have photos in your Photo Stream that you would like to download. The photos are not actually stored on your Apple TV, it sounds like they are being displayed from your Photo Stream. Please read over the attached article for information on your Photo Stream and how to download these photos.

Because your Mac and PC have more storage than your iOS devices, you can choose to download all of your My Photo Stream photos automatically.
In iPhoto or Aperture preferences on your Mac, select Photos (or Photo Stream) > My Photo Stream > Automatic Import. All of your photo stream photos will import into your Events, Projects, Photos, Faces, and Places folders in iPhoto or Aperture.
On your PC with My Photo Stream on in the Control Panel, all of your photos will import intoC:\\Users\<user name>\Pictures\iCloud Photos\My Photo Stream
