This is a Windows question about Windows user account privileges. Go to your Windows user account settings and check if your account has admin rights. If not, log in as administrator and give your account the correct rights. Or, better yet, when you get the message provide the admin account password and continue with the install.
If you are not the administrator for the computer, contact him/her and ask them to install the app or give you the necessary privileges. Or try asking on a Windows forum.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

You don't. the ipad is not a backup/storage device. it simply mirrors the selected content of your computer. The sync is one way - computer to ipad. The only exception is itunes purchases.
Did you fail to maintain a backup copy of your computer?
If so, not good.
You may be able to purchase a third party program, not supported by Apple, to get the other music.

But... if the Device has been Modified... this will Not necessarily work.

Some bookmarks "gray out" and will neither work nor can they be deleted. FF 4.0, Win XP SP3. Have tried safe mode, restart, reboot, and manual deletion in the bookmarks organizer. None of these work.

Only certain sites, such as CNN, will show the site name but not the URL in the Bookmarks Organizer. Sometimes they will appear on a restart. I noticed this in FF 3.16 and thought that FF4.0 might cure it but it hasn't. I've tried disabling hardware acceleration, all plugins, and the advice on the Firefox help site under "bookmarks don't work." I'm typing this from a different computer with essentially the same settings, OS, etc. and this does not show a problem on this machine. I've been through Task Manager, Processes and FF does not appear after shutdown.

Installation problems can have so many causes...but my first question is did you cancel installation of Windows drivers after it found the soundcard as new hardware? Second, and by way of example, recently the IT guy at work setup a new WinXP PC for me including an A2ZS card. But he installed the default Windows drivers for the soundcard. In Device Manager, I uninstalled these drivers and rebooted. Windows found new hardware. I cancelled the offer of Windows drivers and proceeded to install drivers, Creative software apps, and Mediasource from the original installation CD. Everything works fine now. Possibly you've done something similar to this procedure already, but If you decide to try it again, uninstall any software apps first.

first if you are on a windows computer, turn off any security software, including windows firewall in your computers control panel then if that doesnt work
try another usb port on teh computer (if on a desktop plug it into the back of the tower)
try connecting the internet directly to the computer if using wifi
last but not least if none of that works delete itunes and all the other programs that come with the install

I have signed in and out of the app store and the password is correct. I have tried both kinds of reboot but that did nothing. I have tried to update the apps by connecting phone to Mac book pro...it shows the apps being download on the Mac book and says it will sync them to my phone but it does not. Finally got through to tech support and found someone who seemed to know what was going on, he walked me through and using appleid.applesupport got me to a point where i could get a new password for the apple id that kept showing up.

- Verify the device cable type whether Mac OS X 10.4.x supports.
- Verify the device compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4.x.
- Check an available firmware or driver for the camcorder that has developed after Mac OS X 10.4.4.
- Try diagnosing and repairing local hard disk and camcorder's drive directory.
- Verify disks permissions issue.
- Verify whether the disk is TOO warm or cold to read.
- If every troubleshooting does not solve the issue, consider to reformat the camcorder drive.

iLife lasts as long as youuse the Mac - it is possible (Probable) that upgrades will become available for purchase and that certain items like print products will eventually be unavailable without an upgrade - but the software will continue to work - some people still use iPhoto 2 which is over ten years old
