When I updated my phone to iOS 5 it copied them multiple times.
I lost all my data from my iPad when I upgraded to iOS4. Luckily I got most of it back with a restore to backup. I recently got an iPhone 4S. When I went to set it up I realized that I hadn't upgraded the iPad to iOS5. When I attempted the upgrade it said I couldn't do a backup - something about an error during the back up. I had to reset to factory settings in order to upgrade and I again lost all my data. Unfortunately the last time the iPad actually completed a back up was May of 2011. I'm attempting to restore to the May settings and see if I can recover any data or if I'm SOL. Any idea why the recent upgrades are mucking up machines? The early upgrades went smoothly. Only the last 2 have been problematic.

It appears like you may have a hardware issue with your ringer button and internal speaker that came to light after the update. If you have already restored your iPhone back to factory settings using iTunes, you may need to have your phone serviced.
Some potential good news... Check your headphone jack for lint. There may be enough to cause a muffled connection. You can try to blow it out with compressed air or very carefully pulling out any solid objects that may affect the connection.

When I try to update my phone to ios 7 it says i need to update my itunes to 11.0.5, when i check my current version in help menu under check for updates it says I have the current 11.0.5 version. Even the downloader for the update doesnt show that i need to update.Help plzz????
There is some kind of error. The new version of iTunes is 11.1, which although is not available via updates, it can be downloaded from the Apple website here:

After updating iTunes to the newest version you should be able to update your iOS

And that's exactly the problem, because everyone should have their own account for iCloud. You can share an Apple ID for iTunes & App Store purchases, but you shouldn't do that for iCloud (Mail, Calendar, Contacts etc. ... ...and Photos). The problem of using the same account together could mean that only your dad's photos were stored.

Even when i connect to itunes its still showing the screen. i use my phone for everything can someone please help me fix my problem.

I assume you already plugged it into iTunes and tried to restore it? When it is in Recovery mode, the only thing you can do is restore it. You want to make sure that you back the iPad up on a regular basis. -

Unfortunately Pakistan is one of those countries where media isn't available from iTunes - when that might change we won't know (we are fellow users on here) until if/when Apple announce something.

You got more problems then the iOS 6 you did not answer my question nor the other 13 or whatever you replied to within a 30 min time frame. You must got nothing better to do then to harass people and to pretend you know something about apple products. Which you don't from what I've read the other advices you should have gave to other people. But you didn't you replied a question back to the people asking a question. Are you aware that if you restore your ipad that you will lose all data from your ipad and very difficult to get it back unless you had previously made a back-up of your data on itunes or in the cloud. and that would be on the computer you set those up on. (There are some independent apps out there that might help restore data but I don't have any experience with them...)
Also, I think if you restore on another computer you're supposed to have administrator rights and have the latest itunes update. And I think if you sync (if restoring is considered syncing with another computer, you'll be locked out of your computer or a new one.)
I don't know if there is a way for you to safely eject your ipad from your mom's laptop and find another way, but please read this

And then tell the story of your problem that you originally included and your follow-up efforts to restore given a suggestion on previous post (though I think you SHOULD AVOID RSTORE if you can.) I recently got my iPhone 5 unlocked and the other day I updated my phone to ios 7. After doing so my phone shut off and turned on and it said I had no service. I guess it completely wiped out my unlock. I was wondering if anyone knows what I can do to fix it!!
How, EXACTLY, did you get it "unlocked"? ONLY the carrier it's locked to can authorize unlocking it. Anything else is a hack.

iTunes tells me, that I need to load version 11.1 in order to load a backup into my iPhone 5. I'm working with a windows PC and want to update my phone to iOS 7GM. version 11.0.5 is the highest I can get for windows. Can somebody help me?
I'm assuming you followed a forum like Gizmodo to load the latest version of iOS 7 Beta on your device
Alot of those forums forget to mention, iTunes 11.0.5 will allow you to update to the iOS 7 Beta but your device will no longer work unless you have the developer version of iTunes as well....
I'd suggest you to research how to downgrade back to 6.1.3/4 and wait a few days for the iOS to be released, -

Your iOS version is probably too old to support software update. You must update using iTunes on your computer.
Make sure your iTunes on the computer is current. Plug your iPhone into iTunes. Let it sync. Then choose "Check for Updates..." from the iPhone's summary tab in iTunes. That should od it for you.
