The reason your applications do not work in Lion/Mountain Lion is that they were written for the older PowerPC CPU that all Macs used up to 2006. When Apple made its transition to the Intel CPU, they licensed software that they included in all versions of OS X (from Tiger to Leopard and optionally, Snow Leopard) called Rosetta.
Rosetta miraculously allows PowerPC applications to work on the Intel processor transparently; you do not know it is even present.
The problem is that after 6 years of the transition, Apple's license to use the underlying software expired for OS X Lion and all version thereafter (and it is doubtful that the current owner of the software, IBM, would relicense it, even if Apple were inclined to do so).
So you do not have to accept recriminations from others for previously using Rosetta without even knowing it was present and running!
So for those of use that need to upgrade to Lion/Mountain Lion, I have offered the option to install Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels 7:

If you are unable or unwilling to update your inventory of PowerPC software, this solution offers you an alternative for not more than the $29 cost of Snow Leopard and $79 cost of Parallels (cheaper via internet sources).

So sorry to hear about the trouble with Wi-Fi! Let's get that working the way it should. Could you provide us some more details regarding where this breakdown occurs? Are you having trouble with turning Wi-Fi on or connecting to your Wi-Fi? Are other devices connecting to your Wi-Fi without issue?

I'd try resetting the pse 11 preferences.
In the pse 11 editor Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor (Edit)>Preferences>General, click on Reset Preferences on Next launch
and then restart the pse 11 editor. -

When on a page if I click on a web link I get a new window that is blank and asks me enter a web address. This started happening with the new 3.6 version. It seems to have something to do with what I choose for the location in my privacy settings as the window changes with each setting but I still cannot get to the new site. Any ideas? I have no problem with this in IE and I have to keep opening IE when I encounter the problem on Firefox which is annoying.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

I rented a movie via itunes on my apple tv 3 days ago. I still cannot view it on my television. I have checked all internet connections, routers, speedtests..etc and have come to the conclusion that it is simply the itunes download on apple tv. I can view netflix no problem on the same apple box.
I now have downloaded the same movie to my computer and am watching almost instantly. What is happening here? I used to rent movies on itunes via apple tv and get almost instant streaming now it's incredibly slow!It doubful thats its your PC per se, alot of people are reporting the store being alittle on the slow side.
It won't last long, its just apple make all these changes 3-4 days ago, a week or 2 they will have it all str8.
You can overlook your network setup tho, make sure the connection isn't looping around thru ports on the router and slowing you down. I doubt thats it tho, iTUnes increased the resolution of there video, so in turn the files are bigger. This is why iTUnes now has a download manager in it so you can pause things when needed -
My MacPro is a dual quad core 2.8 intell processor system with 6 gig of RAM and 4 HDs. I recently upgraded the HDs from 500 gig each to 2 TB each. I did that by copying each existing hard drive to a new hard drive and then inserting the new hard drive where the copied drive had been. I followed all of the instructions for the OX system that came after copying and replacing the drive with the OX on it. Unfortunately now I can no longer use the 2 monitors that I used to use on the system. One monitor works fine, the second on is not found by the OX system and simply won't respond or receive a signal from the computer. Any ideas?

Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.

I have an original iPad and downloaded the new operating system. Now, I cannot add to my contacts or calendar apps, and Pages ( which I purchased) is not allowing me to use the bold, underline, and italics functions. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
No, it stays with the current OS (iOS5 in this case) - Apple doesn't allow downgrading iOS
If you are syncing to a desktop, you shoudln't lose anything. If you aren't syncing, then that's the first thing you should do, to protect contacts etc.
the other thing is, when the iPad is connected to iTunes, right-click its name in the Devices list and choose Back Up.
That way, when yoiu do the restore, everything should come back as was. -
Can't get TouchEvent to work, what is wrong with my code?

I am trying to get a touch event to trigger. Using my Motorola Droid 2 phone, I can get a MouseEvent to trigger, but I can't get a TouchEvent to trigger that would change text on screen.
I am using an AIR For Android Template in Flash Pro CS5.
Here is my code:

Edit: Nevermind, I figured something out. I imported Multitouch and MultitouchInputMode, then set Multitouch.inputMode to MultitouchInputMode.TOUCH_POINT and then replaced TouchEvent.TOUCH_TAP with TouchEvent.TOUCH_BEGIN. I'm gussing TOUCH_TAP is buggy because it didn't work even after making the previous changes. Regardless, TOUCH_BEGIN works for what I need.Hello,

itune radio can play only in selected region ( Like USA) so make sure that your itune account is set to USA. If you change store to some place else that are not in the list, you are lost the ability to access to itune radio.

Have you repaired permissions and restarted your computer after installing ML? Checked your printer settings in System Preferences?
If Software Update does not list any updated drivers for your model printer, you should go to the printer's manufacturer website and download the drivers from there and/or contact their tech support to determine if your printer is compatible w/ML.

I lost the ability to create invitations on my iPhone 4. It was an option but that option is gone.
In 3 years I never synched my calendar to iCloud for fear I would lose my data. I explained all of this (and the fact that my phone had never been backed up to iCloud or iTunes to the tech at the Genius Bar (I was having wifi issues with my phone which is why I was there so I COULD START BACKING UP) and he assured me synching / merging to iCloud would not delete my calendar events: well, it did. Yes! I have spent hours with apple tech support and had my iTunes account in "troubleshoot " status so the engineers could go into iCloud to see if they could retrieve events. They found nothing. I just don't understand where it goes if it's on the phone? I know there are ways forensic engineers retrieve "lost " data on cell phones. I just thought it might be worth it to post on here and see if there is any hope .
