Don't know why... But try a Reset... You will Not Lose Any Data...

Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...

Since I have upgraded from 7.1 then the power consumption increased slightly unbelievable. I have new batteries in my iphone 5 and when I had at ios 7 so was consumption that allows the battery envelope in two days and with ios 7.1 so is it only 12 hours before I need to recharge the battery.

why is it that when i upgraded to ios 6, my ipad 2 no longer connects to known networks automatically?
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

How do I get my ringtones back on my phone?
I lost my ringtones from my phone when I upgraded to iOS 6 on my iPhone 4. The ringtones are still on my computer and play in iTunes, but they won't re-transfer back to the phone. I'm using the correct iTunes account on both my computer and phone. In the iPhone view of iTunes on my computer, it shows that my phone recognizes that I had those ringtones, but there is an exclamation mark showing that my phone can't find the files. I can't delete these "placeholders" from my phone with the hopes of re-transfering the files back to the phone, either. I cannot just simply re-transfer the files from my computer back to the phone. It won't let me using the regular synch options and I can't find anything in the menus of iTunes to help me out either.
Any advice would be much appreciated.Ignore. I figured it out:)

I Am considering upgrading to ios 8 for the new apps and features it brings but I am wondering if my apps will work on ios 8 and data will be saved? I know that when I upgraded to ios 7 all my data was still there, and I have heard ios 8 is similar to ios 7 in terms of look not like ios 6 to 7.
p.s. If this is the wrong place to post this question move it to where the right place is.My iPad 4 runs fine on IOS 8.1.2, you should have no problems. To second what mende1 has already said be sure to make a backup first. The one time I had troubles with a update and needed to restore my iPad the iCloud backup fully restored all my infomation.

Any restrictions set up in Settings/General/Restrictions? If yes, disable them. Default apps that are restricted will disappear from the screen, lifting the restrictions again will bring them back.

It's a built-in app, so it can't be deleted nor downloaded from the store. If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Camera being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
What happened to the Podcast fast forward 15 sec function in the lock screen? It went away when I upgraded to iOS 7.1.
I thought the same thing, until I saw there is a podcast update as well in the app store, that fixes this.

I have an iphone 4, when I upgraded to ios 7.1.1 the application 'superlive pro' is not functioning well it is stucked and some times the device needs to be restarted
if there is a compatability between the app and newer versions of the ios then likely the developer if he/she knows about it will release an update fixing the issue
but of cause the developer has to know about it so maybe you should inform the developer about the issue and wait for a fix -

Sorry... But... The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required.

I found a solution that worked for me:
What I did:
1. Uninstalled iTunes, but didnt need to remove other related software components
2. Downloaded and installed iTunes from here (as you suggested): iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)
3. I didnt have to reset Sync History or change anything and it works!

Siri stopped working on on iphone 6 Plus when I upgraded to ios 8.0.2
I can hold the Home button and Siri comes about but its as if the Microphone is muted. It doesn't recognize my voice at all.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?I personally have tried everything that Apple has provided for me. All the System Restore through iTunes, Factory Reset in Settings>General>Reset. Nothing has helped me in this situation. I am currently using the iPhone 6 Plus and has had it for a little over a month. I really don't think that the issue is with the software but an issue with the hardware since my sister and other family members is currently using the iPhone 6 Plus as well and is running the current software as I am. Apple has sent me a repair box to send to them since that is my last resort since my local AT&T store wont help me, and because my nearest Apple Store is about 2 hours and 30 minutes away. If I had a credit card or tons of money in the bank I could of had them send me a new replacement in no time and I would have to do is send my old one in with in 10 days. My goal is to have received the package, and have it delievered by Monday January 5,2015. I will post of up-to-date information on how my situation has been fixed and if I have any problems with the device when I come back.
