When I upgraded toversion 4 my bookmarks,RSS feeds, am\nd bookmarks toolbar appear to have been removed. How do I rcover them?

I went from Version 3 to version 4 and when the new app was sarted there was a different toolbar , no bookmarks, no RSS items.
At no time was there an alert or question about dumping the bookmarks , etc. In the past when upgrading to a new version the bookmarks and other settings and profile info was brought forward.
I tried to go back to the older version but could not.

Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* Make sure that you have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" then click the "Restore Default Set" button
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
You can find the RSS feed (Subscribe) button in the toolbar palette in the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window and drag the button on a toolbar.

(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

If an app freezes on you - you can try force quitting the app.
Force quit the app by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears. Let go of the sleep button and then hold down on the home button until the app quits. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I have just upgraded from Lightroom 5 standalone to Lightroom 6 standalone. I appear to have been automatically enrolled for a 30 day free trial of Lightroom Mobile and Creative Cloud. Reading the FAQ, it appears that after the expiry of the free trial, if I do not sign up and pay, I will only be able to view my pictures on the desktop but not edit them - surely this cannot be true. When I was signed into Adobe (which was a requirement for installing the upgrade), Lightroom 6 told my at the top right corner that I had 30 days left of my free trial of Lightroom Mobile and Creative Cloud. In parallel with this forum posting, I am chatting with Adobe support. he is away to find out how to prevent any synching with Creative Cloud during the 30 day free trial. I do not think that Creative Cloud is an application that gets installed on your PC. You can middle-click a link to open the link in a new tab.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Don't save. Close the documents.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Pages 5 will damage/alter older files, something Apple didn't tell its users.
Pages 5 is a severely stripped down version with over 90+ features removed.
We recommend trashing/archiving Pages 5 after Exporting any files you may have saved back to Pages '09.
Also rate/review Pages 5 in the App store.

That does do that. However it is a temporary backup and not the most reliable. Make sure you also go into file > Transfer purchases from _______ to make sure you save your music and apps. though the article that wjosten posted is correct for the backup as well. But article HT1414 is better for info on backing up.

That was the first thing I check, my X no longer exist, the app still works fine and does everything it did in the past, the the x (delete) option is no longer there. I have deleted and redownloaded the app and did a complete reset, X still not there as an option. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

My bookmarks menu only shows ten bookmarks, but I make many more so how do I find them all on my macbook.

Firefox happily informs us that after ten bookmarks in a folder the oldest one is dropped off - however I keep dozens of bookmarks, all of which used to be kept in one long list on my firefox menu. I believe now you potentially lose all extensions, plug-ins when you use the new reset function, but you will let me know.
If that is the case, your find corrupt file method maybe better. However, I reviewed the two help articles and there appear to be more files than just the delete search.json file and a possible search.sqlite file in the Firefox Profile Folder. I am confused. Then I have to find the folders. I think help articles mentioned how to find the profile containing the files, but not sure.

As Ocean20 say, your only shot at recovering the photos and data is to restore from a backup (with iTunes if you took the backup with iTunes, through iCloud if you took the backup through iCloud).
The erasure is to prevent your data from falling into the hands of somebody who takes your phone and eventually guesses your password. If you feel that the inconvenience caused by this feature and your friend outweighs the trouble that somebody could cause if they got possession of your contacts and other data, you can change this behaviour.
Settings > General > Passcode Lock > Erase Data > OFF

If you remove the names then you may have a problem with organizing or searching for bookmarks.<br />
If you do not want to use the extension then you can achieve the same effect with code in userChrome.css<br />
That is what I would do.
Add code to userChrome.css below the @namespace line.

Just a guess here, but when you are in Contacts, look to the top where it says Groups. Could yours be set to Hide All Contacts?
