When I use my keyboard only symbols appear and this is in any program. It's only one year old.

It's possible that one or more of the modifier keys on your keyboard is stuck, or that you have an incorrect keyboard selected in your preferences. Let's try a few things.
If you open System Preferences (under the Apple menu) and select Language & Text (I am assuming you are using OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, by the way) then select the Input Sources tab make sure the Keyboard & Character Viewer checkbox is checked on the left. Once it is you will have an icon in your menu bar that looks like a square with a bunch of dots and a star in it. From that menu select Show Keyboard Viewer. This will show on your screen the keyboard you are using. Do any of the modifier keys (shift, command, option, etc) show up dark as if they are depressed?
This will also show the name of the keyboard you are using (at the top of the virtual keyboard) What is it?

What user troubleshooting have you tried? The user troubleshooting steps are restart, reset, restore from backup and restore as new. Usually a reset will fix most of the unusual actions by the device.

Try Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

My I phone has plenty of storage but will not download any apps free or paid for when I press install the installation symbol appears briefly and then the page reverts to the original form with the price or free on the right hand side.

treeMap will be disappear??Yes. Of course. If you want data to hang around you have to tell the computer. If you want anything to happen you have to tell the computer.

data...when i restart my program..Tada! Tell the computer. Your simplest option is to use Serialization.
Before exiting your program, serialize your TreeMap to disk. After starting your program serialize your TreeMap from disk.
First stop should be your text book to learn what Serialization is and how it works, then try to write some code, then ask us to help with any problems.

Multiple letters result when you 'hold down' a key too long.
For best results, touch the on-screen 'keyboard' lightly and quickly with your fingertips.
I find it is easier to type with more accuracy on the larger 'landscape' keyboard, because the keys are spaced better for my fingers.
If you are trying to use a compatible iPhone or iPod Touch app, use the 2x button in the lower right corner to enlarge the iPhone keyboard. (But it still won't be the same layout as the iPad.)
If you've never done much typing, it might help to use a typing tutor app. Several are available in the iTunes App store.
If you have a lot of text to enter (writing papers, transcribing recordings, writing a novel), you might consider purchasing a compatible wireless keyboard. In my experience, two different USB keyboards I own do work when plugged into the USB Camera Connection kit, even though the iPad may 'complain' about the keyboard being an unsupported device.

This is usually due to the app not allowing video to airplay for nebulous rights reasons.
Check the app provider's website or itunes store reviews.

Turns out to be an iPhone 4 problem. I went to a store and they replaced it. No problems now. My wife's iPhone 4 also had to be replaced which is disturbing. We had the original iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS without issue. This iPhone is not that good. It was emphasized to me the other day when I used a Razor in my house and found the voice quality infinitely superior and worked in places where my iPhone 4 failed completely (all on AT&T).
People on the other end of calls with the Razor commented that my voice sounded much better and asked what had I done (they were used to the calls made with the iPhone).
I am afraid I think that the iPhone 4 is not all it is cracked up to be. For phone use the Razor beats it hands down. Now, when it comes to email etc. the iPhone is infinitely superior but as a phone it is certainly not as good as it could be.
I am afraid that Apple may have lost the magic recipe and, if I had not gone past the return date, the iPhone 4 would be going back.

Why is up next adding songs twice when I use the keyboard shortcut? (windows)

I only encounter this using the mini-player
as far as I know, at least; because the keyboard shortcut doesn't even work on the full sized player.

When I use varispeed speed only I loose the out put. No sound.

When I turn varispeed on, speed only, I loose the track audio no matter what the reduction in speed is. Any ideas?

Also we want to double-click the Home button and swipe the Task Bar to the right.

My computer was shut down. It was set on Japanese Hiragana language before shutting down. Now I want to login with my password in English. Yet, teh keyboard was set in Japanese and thus, I can not login anymore. How can I reset/change from Hiragana Japanese mode to Englsih ( US) with some shortcuts on my keyboard?

Try Apple/Command + space.
For the future, go to system prefs/accounts/login items and check the box for Show Input Menu on Login Screen.
