Please turn off your caps lock. That is considered yelling and rude on the internet and the forum.
If the behavior repeats after a reset, then you need to restore the device. You can start by restoring from a backup, but if the behavior returns, then restore as new. If the behavior returns after that, then it is indicative of a hardware problem. You can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have the device checked. Since it seems to only affect a certain area of the keyboard, it makes me believe there could be a hardware issue.

I have graphical errors on the browser edges when i use the right click menu and close out tabs.

Ok I will try to explain this the best way I can as I'm not sure what to call it. But simply put, if I have FF4 open, sometimes I get a graphical glitch on the edge of the window. It seems to always occur when I right click near the edge of the browser window, then close out that current tab. A small part of the context menu remains on the screen. Here is a screenshot:

notice the section in the lower right hand part of the browser. That's the leftover context menu in the edge of the window. There is also a section on the bottom of the browser as well. I didn't plan on that one, and have no idea why it is there. I had no menu open there. Anyone every see this before?

You can also use ctrl-T or File > New tab (if you have the menubar showing). I can't find an extension that will help you bring back the previous behavior but there probably will be one soon.

Airport Extreme (1GB model) powers down when you squeeze the right side.

I was rearranging my office today and wanted to move my AE. I was just lifting it from one desk to another. I grasped this wonderful device very carefully. As there are many cables hanging out of it I had a firm grip while moving in case one snagged. I held it in my right hand and I felt the bottom "pop" and the green LED turned off. I quickly unplugged it and finished my moving. While it was unplugged, I noticed that you can compress the bottom and it pops and returns to position. I didn't want to do it too much as I didn't want to fry it. The whole shorting out and failing think bothers me. Has anyone else experienced this?

Loud Click when I press the right half of my trackpad mouse button

I have been using a macbook for the past year, and just recently I get a very load metal on metal click or crunching noise when I press the right side of my trackpad mouse button. I have removed the battery and looked behind to see the trackpad assembly and when I press on the corresponding side of the assembly it also make the same clack or click or bad noise. When I do the same to the opposite side there is no noise. My guess is that there is a spring on that side that has come undone, am I right? If so how do I fix it? I bought my laptop in the US, but right now and for the next few months I am living in Norway (no apple stores) is there a place where I can bring it to in order to get warrentied service? Will apple mail me the part? It ought to be fairly easy to fix. Thanks

have you tried to connect on the command line (instead of using R3trans) ?
db2 connect to AE1 user sapae1 using .....
If this works and you have verified that the DB2DB6EKEY is set properly, use dscdb6up to update the password in the password file dscbd6.conf.
Then try again to use R3trans to connect.

Can't figure out how to print on the right side of a greeting card using a 5X7 when folded

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500A. I am trying to print a greeting card, but cannot figure out how to print on the right side of the paper so that it's on the correct side when folded. The paper is 5X7 when folded, 10X7 laid flat.

Welcome to the forums. I will try to explain this in simple terms, and you'll have to play with it. We'll use plain paper, cut to 10x7. You'll need a marker, 4-5 sheets of paper.
Lay paper flat, number top 1, bottom 2. Flip paper over right to left. number top 3, and bottom 4.Draw a line where the fold would be on each page.1) Put paper with number 3 side up in printer.
To create both templates using MW Office, do this. The requires 2 documents. One is graphic, one is text.
Text template: The text will be printed on number 2. That means your wording must be within the bottom half of the page.
Graphic template: The image must be rotated 180 degrees.The image must be within the top half of the page.
Print the text template. Insert side #3 into the printer. The text should print on side #2.
Print the graphic template: Insert side #1 into the printer. The graphic should print on side #3.
When folded, all should be correct, if I did it right.

There are ads that come up on the right side and bottom of websites when I use Firefox on my computer- right now it seems to be one Windows computer

When I use Firefox on a Windows based computer a side "ad" bar comes up on the right side(if looking at the computer) and one comes up on the bottom that offers other searches similar to the website I am on.

How can I get a scroll bar at the bottom of the page so I can see the right side of the page when I am using two windows?

Thank you for the reply, Fred, but when I went to my saved screenshot, I realized that the shortcut on my desktop had opened in IE, not Firefox. There is no scroll bar and the directional arrows do not work. My daughter has been playing with my laptop again. When I set up the same conditions with Firefox, there is no scroll bar, but the arrows function properly, so I can read to the right edge of the page. Now to find someone who knows IE11. They don't have the music on their computer so they cannot transfer the iTunes folder, from the computer to their iPod and then to the new computer. And if they try to enable disk use on the iPod it will erase all the music that is on it. The method you cited is moving the files in a data format using the iPod as a flash drive. It doesn't work if they are in music format. That is why I suggested Yamipod.

For instance I view an apartment ad which has various pictures attached. It says click on the pictures to see an enlarged version. FF opens the page however most of the page is blank and the picture appears to be pushed to the right side of the page and shows as if it has been scrunched agains the right side not showing the whole picture.

I see that you have increased some font sizes considerably.
* font.size.fixed.x-western: 20
* font.size.variable.x-western: 22
This can effect margins when the website specifies these as em values and cause content to shift.
If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly.

You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: Open with) if you didn't create this file yourself.

I have 9 tabs, but when I try to make a tab group, only the current page shows up as a thumbnail, not all the tabs. I can't get them to work for me. All the tabs are listed on the right side of the tab groups box. What am I doing wrong?

There's no thumbnails to drag around except one on the left side of the page (the one that's open). The right side of the page lists every tab I have created.

I would suggest that if you do not save that stuff in bookmarks, that you will probably have a serious problem soon and lose your tabs, so if you count on them you could lose them. They should stand up to repeated restarts but I would not count of them as app-tabs myself, for one thing it is new, the other is I have to frequently wipe them out and restart, because I actively open new content into them and go back to the beginning of the tab history, and sometimes I can't, and sometimes I lose them by accidentally closing them -- and I must be able to close them in all manners that I close other tabs or I wouldn't be using them.
There are people who keep 200 tabs open through restarting, that is not for me, I try to clear out the tabs frequently.
That is what app-tabs are for as opposed to home pages, but I did have a problem when I tested with 120 since as app-tabs only about 65 can be seen at once even though I did reduce the width of app-tabs to about 2/3 the size that they were.. Problem I had when I restarted was that the window enlarged a bit beyond the screen, and my tab counter disappeared until I reduced the count to about 65. I do not allow tabs to scroll so you probably wouldn't have that problem.
I forgot to test home page with 60 tabs. I do have something set to 75 though have to check that. I tested with 60 pages as home page. Brought firefox down and backup with the 1 app-tab and 60 home pages the app-tab is the same size as the 60 normal tabs from home page.
Never used group-tabs by choice, since they messed me up I stay clear of them, I don't like them or anything large panoramic type of large thumbnails.
