When I use the search I can find the bookmarks i've saved, but not in which folder among my many they are

So I have tons of bookmark folders with tons of pages in each folder now at random times (do to unintended myself actions or whatever) i lose a folder that was in a specific hiearchy of other folder. I do a search for a site i know was in that folder it shows me all the sites in that folder but not where the heck that folder is in my heirarchy.
when it's big it's a pain to look for it and when i do even 4 times over still cant find them

There is an extension you can install which adds a "Parent Folder" column in the Library dialog (Ctrl+Shift+b). It has an option to show the full path instead of just the parent folder.

Since both computers are connected via the network, you could simply copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from one computer to another via the network.
If both computers are running Windows, use the Easy File Transfer Utility built into Windows to move iTunes and all other user media/data.

Open the Settings app on teh iPad, go to Notifications and check to see what you have set up.

This type of behaviour can be caused by malware. Try running several malware scanners. It is best to run several as each will pick up things that the others miss. Some scanners you can try are:

How to get the search function to find the correct files

i have long wondered if it was me or the system, but i am very clear finally that the search function *****.
1) i try to find a word in a document.
2) the system shows me several possibilities. chapters 16, 18, 21, etc...
3) i then bring up each one individually and search each one. some of them DON'T EVEN HAVE THE WORD OR PHRASE IN THEM THAT I AM SEARCHING FOR. what's THAT all about?
4) so i look at my real life book or search on the web. voila! there it is. chapter 14.
5) i try again. both finder search and spotlight. NEITHER SHOW ME THE CORRECT DOCUMENT. neither shows me chapter 14. they still show 16, 18, 21, etc.
this has always been VERY mysterious.
it has happened hundreds of times over the years.
i am VERY clear now it is NOT me and it IS the system.
what use is it to get a list of documents that do not have the correct criteria and NOT get the document that has the correct criteria?
is leopard as sucky?

i often try to find exact words in a particular book
that i have on my computer as .doc files.
and it often does not find what i want and it often
finds what i do not want. so i am very confused.
i went to system preferences. opened spotlight.
there is nothing listed under 'don't search here'...
and i have only a few things listed under 'search here.
i do not understand how that link could help my
problem.
when i search for the word inside a document or
inside a pdf, the programs find the word. but
finder/spotlight does not find it.

I transferred the data from my old 2006 MacBook Pro 17". Thanks for the help on that. I thought that I was doing it right. Used a backup hard drive and time machine. Problem: Now my new macbook air thinks it is the old machine and that the remote disc is the mb air. Clicks want to take things to mobile me instead of iCloud, old applications launch instead of the new ones. How do I fix the mess I have made? Like I said before, I am a software user and don't really know what I am doing when I start into the guts of the software, but I am able to learn. Thanks for any help.

FF67 problem, can't change statement date(statement saved but not post)

I need to change the statement date of a bankstatement. I did not post the statement yet.
I used a wrong statement date, and I want to change it, but I saved it after booking the second screen(the one with the
statement items)
When I look by Manual Bank Statement Overview I see the bankstatement, but it has no Posting complete remark yet, because it has not been postefdofcourse.
The problem is I can't change the statement date, because when I try to Post then the systems gives an error because it does not accept the new statement date I want to use.
Is there a way to solve this problem? The statement has not been posted yet, so I suprised I can't change the statement date.
Anyway I hope somebody can help me out.

I had to post them first because otherwise it looks I could not delete the statement.
I saw no Id with only saving, that's why I post them. then the statement got an id.
What do I have to choose to make it possible to delete statements, not posted yet.
I guess I have to select something else because I did not see any Id to choose.
I do a manual input of the bankstatements (no import).
Whst's the best I can do now? What do you mean with FI?
I guess I can do a manual booking on the three(send/receive and general) bankaccounts to get the right position of the accounts?
The bankstatements are ok(booked with ff67) only the three accounts I mention above have the wrong position.

I have lost acess to most of my music in my itunes on my computer. I have a modern newish computer with windows 7 software and the latest version 11 Apple itunes software. Now all I get is amessage stating '' music cannot be found as original file cannot be found.'' I do not understand what I have to do to track down were the music is now filed as I understand that it somehow has been ''moved'' [how does this happen???] and itunes cannot find it.

The error that you are receiving usually indicates that the file or files are either missing completely from the computer or that the files are in a location that iTunes is set to read. This is easily correctable if the media is on the computer. The article below will help you locate your media.

I was downloading the 2013 California payroll tax withholding tables, from this page:

I have turned off the default page in Firefox for displaying PDFs (which is hard to read), so it brings up a dialog box asking whether I want to save the PDF or view it using Acrobat Reader. I tell it to save, and it appears to work. It's only when I get the saved PDF over to the non-networked PC that it can't be viewed.
Double-clicking it there brings up a dialog box with "Open" and "Save File" buttons as if I were trying to install some program over a network connection. But whichever I pick, it will then bomb out. It doesn't even seem to display an error message; it just exits.
[Yes, I've also tried viewing the PDF in Acrobat Reader and then saving it from there. Same result.]

All of a sudden I noticed that most of the folders on my computer were no longer using the folder icon, but the generic document icon. I had to manually change back the icon being used by opening Get Info for each folder and copying and pasting the generic folder icon from some folders that remained unchanged. Now whenever I create a New Folder (right click -> "New Folder"), the icon that shows up is the generic document icon (white page with top right corner turned down). And I have to manually change it so it shows up as a folder in Finder or on my desktop. I don't know why or how this switch happened. All of the folders now on my computer look ok, but I need to change the default so when I create a New Folder it uses the correct icon.
I have also Forced Relaunch of my Finder and rebooted the system. I downloaded Candybar but am not sure what will fix anything, so I haven't proceeded.
Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks.

For the avoidance of doubt, you must have enough of a balance to pay for the rental in full, it won't take the balance and the difference by credit card. If you don't have enough of a balance it will all be taken by credit card.
